Communication with Chris and Charlie is great from first booking. Easy to book, find place and settle in. Everything you need is there and contact with owners is very easy. Cooked breakfasts and requests are superb and sets you up for each day. Very comfortable place for your dog, plenty of room and Rutherglen itself is very dog friendly. Chris has heaps of recommendations for meals, wineries, places to visit and looks after her guests fantastically. Wifi, tv, split system, hot water all work great. Beautiful place to set up as a base when exploring the area. Walking distance to town.

Nothing really!

The romm was wonderfully decorated and large. It was a in fact a suite of 3 rooms plus a private yard. We also had shared access to the kitchen and dining rooms. The host (Chris) was the host with the most. Caring, entertaining, sweet, very eager to please the guests. The location was a short walk from town centre and the whole region was superbly dotted with wineries and Murray River and lake walks. Fantastic gettaway. Also very pet friendly!

Dusty from construction across the road and a little too much barking from other dogs.

Location was excellent. Breakfast was amazing I would love Chris to cook breakfast for me everyday of week! Bed was excellent had a great nights sleep, loved the clear roofed shower, would have loved to have been able to use the amazing bath but too hot a weather. Lovely caring hospitality.

Excellent facilities for the dog, definitely felt like he was a valued guest! Really good location within walking distance of the main street in Rutherglen and within a 5-15 min drive of most of the regions wineries.

Chris cooks up a lovely breakfast to start the day for you and is a wonderful resource on what's around to assist planning your day's exploits. We loved our morning chat over breakfast and how welcome Chris and Charlie made us feel. To have a place where our dogs are so welcome is such a rare find and an absolute treasure. The accommodation was brilliant in catering for humans and dogs alike to take away any stress in travelling with our puppy companions.

The place was quaint and lacked for nothing. The garden is beautiful. Chris is fabulous. Charlie is a dag. The dogs are great especially the Dane. Excellent breakfasts. A lovely stay.

The location was great. It was a short walk to the shops. There were lots of wineries around to see when driving. Breakfast was yummy. Chris the host was so friendly and helpful with ideas of what to see around the area. The cottage we were in had everything we needed. Will definitely be back to stay again.

Great location, walk to town. Chris pampered us with beautiful warm muffins on arrival and treats for our dog. Breakfasts were delicious. I loved rocking in the garden egg chair after a hard day of exploring the wineries.
