Apartment a little dated and some issues with advertised facilities needing repair/not available

Expensive for one night.. but it is a 2 bedroom well equipped suite so not outrageous. Had to prompt managers to get the gate code before we arrived.

Our 2 bedroom suite overlooked the road/hospital so it wasn't serene or romantic. Didn't bother me as my son and I were just just there for a night to be handy for the airport. Some other rooms overlook the garden/pool which would be nicer for a holiday or couples thing. Suite had good kitchen equipment/washing machine etc that we didn't use but would be great for longer stays. Handy for walks on the esplanade. Undercover off street parking was good.

Close to everything. Can walk to a supermarket, Bottle shop and great eateries & attractions. Fully equipped with everything even olive oil & paper towels! Very comfortable. Thank you Jo.

Coffee plunger would be great

A dishwasher and electric clothes dryer would be handy. When we checked in, one of the ladies in reception took my mums big suitcase off her to too it to our room which was so lovely as my mum is visibly unable to walk far.

Terrible mattresses, "extra large double bed" was 2 singles pushed together.very uncomfortable. Couch and dining chairs all uncomfortable and needs replacing. Blinds in bedrroms don't cover windows properly, so your up at first light.

We would have liked a cleaning service every couple of days and change of towels. We were for adults and a child and stayed for five days.

To find that reception was closed upon arrival, despite being still afternoon and no message to find out how one is to get keys, etc (to find out by accident on another day, from manager that the message was sent to a wrong number). Plus to maybe mention to Booking.com and other sites that reception is closed at 2pm, not later. No dryer in apartment or washing line but at least there was a clothes airer provided.

Decent sized apartment. Had everything supplied (sheets, towels, etc), as well as some little extras such as sone teabags and coffee. Beds were comfortable. It was clean and tidy. Washing machine provided. Good location, with no being too far from the town centre. Parking available on site. Swimming pool on site but didn't use.

A little far out of the centre of Cairns to walk with a four year old but it does have a bus stop out the front. Our room faced the road so a little noisy with traffic. Could do with a couple extra pots for cooking. Queen bed was two singles joined

It was a short walk to the middle of the esplanade. It was clean and had laundry powder and soap/shampoo/conditioner which saved buying some. As well as tea/coffee/oil/salt/pepper for cooking.

It needed to be cleaner, as there was hair balls & hair in various places. Also the countertops hadn’t been cleaned properly. The cupboard doors also needed a wipe. I’ve cleaned motel rooms before so understand the pressures.

It was a great little apartment, nice design & had very comfortable beds.

Would prefer to have shower curtains so that water doesn't spill over during shower.

Central location easy commute to attractions. We had a good experience staying at Reef Gateway Apartments.

There was painting being done during our visit. Although outside, the fumes still upset one of our family. Suggest unit not be let out, while doing this. Asthma & paint do not agree.

The complex is in an excellent location with city bus at the door. Unit was clean & as on brouchure. Would stay there again

Central location. Thoughtful checkin instructions were easy to follow. Full kitchen for cooking if we wanted.

A bit too far from the city centre to walk with little kids, but the bus stop out front solved that issue.

Comfy although small apartment with everything we needed. Nice furniture and art. Lovely view overlooking the pool.

The kitchen could do with a few more items like salad bowls, Tupperware. We also would have appreciated fresh towels during our stay as we were there for 8 nights. The apartment is a little dated but you can see they are updating them at the moment.

The apartment was good value for money for our family. We were a short walk from the esplanade, Muddy’s and the Aquarium. The appliances are all new and you can see that they are in the process of doing up the apartment complex.
