We liked it all.

Our unit directly faced the beach. What a wonderful view. A short walk to cafes and restaurants, the beach right at the door - it was everything we needed for our short stay.

The apartment was very dated needs a facelift everything is so old , no fly screens, no air-conditioning so couldn't open windows for mosquitos , no fan in bathroom extremely warm .. if it rains and it does a lot the 2nd bedroom has a bed beside the window rain comes straight in all over the bed suggest move the bed

The location is brilliant close to restaurants supermarket you can walk everywhere... pool/spa fabulous grassed area was perfect...

The apartment we were given was on the ground floor and was very dated. The main bedroom smelt like mould and you couldn't open the windows to air it out as right outside the window was a thoroughfare for the building so people were constantly walking by and could look inside. This is also meant it was very noisy at all times of day and night so sleeping wasn't great. The outside balcony connected to the other ground floor apartments so people would walk past and look inside to see what we were doing as they walked to their room so very little privacy. The carpets in the bedrooms were so old and horrible to walk on. I don't know if the other apartments in the building are nicer but it was one of the worst stays on the coast and the most uncomfortable nights sleep. You have to weigh up staying for the location which is amazing but then having a terrible nights sleep. Would not stay again.

The only thing that was good about our stay was the location of being right on the beach. If it wasn't for that part the whole weekend would have been awful

My booking -Two-Bedroom Apartment with Ocean View because I wanted to be away from the pool, research on the website indicated this would be the case. What I was given was an absolute Beachfront ground floor right near the pool, people walking past and a very noisy pump right near the balcony. The balcony was barely wide enough to walk on let alone sit and relax. Most people would say how awesome an absolute beach front - yes the view was fantastic, however the unit was tired, in dire need of a paint and tidy up and only a few of the windows had security so you couldn't leave them open at night. The security walked past me standing on the balcony at around 10pm, think he was trying out for the 100 metre dash - didn't even notice me. When I booked in and was given apartment 1, I said that it wasn't what I booked, the answer was, "sorry that's all I have, the upper level units are booked by longer stays, but you have beach front" - if you don't want short stays of 2 nights people - don't take the booking!!

I didn’t like the fact that we spent 5 nights without any housekeeping and half a roll of toilet paper! If you expect guests to wash their own linen at least provide the appropriate equipment.

Wifi was a bit patchy but we found that sometimes if we couldn't log onto our room number, we could access via other rooms as the password was the same. Minor hiccup the lift was out of action for a day or so but from what I saw this was well managed. Fire stairs access was suitable.

Spindrift was better than it was advertised to be. The architecture allows excellent views even from our side apartment and the access to the beach was straightforward. The pool and spa were kept maintained and well heated. The apartment space felt even larger than the 115 m2 advertised, again due to good design. We were lucky to get heavily discounted rate on booking.com and were very tempted to pay the extra to try out the larger apartment with full sea views. If you are looking for a value option for a supreme location this is the place. Of course the neighbourhood of Nobby Beach is well known for its cheery vibe.

The apartment was advertised as ocean side, but it was on the side of the building. There was only a partial view of the ocean, with the main view being the building next door. The lounge furniture is a bit dated , and the general lighting was unpleasant , fluorescent.

The location and views were fantastic. The pool was clean and the spa was fun to relax in. Very close to a small shopping strip and a few excellent cafes & bars.

Nothing. Was dirty and had many cockroaches. Wouldn’t recommend. Staff was also rude and arguing and did not take any feedback. Had to sleep in the living room due to the rooms being dirty. Dust all around the house causing continual sneezing. Ruined my family’s trip.
