The check in it’s too late and the check out to early I paid for one night and it wasn’t even 24 hours and the breakfast was horrible

* lack of accurate communication for car parking. a unique verbal password given to each guest for the intercom at the entry is such an easy fix. * inflexibility to deal with unique situations that face a disabled guest in urgent need of a toilet on arrival . . . told "please wait in line and then I'll make you a key card for the lift." * all situations resolved with effort on the guest's initiative. * nobody seems to know or will take responsibility to find out. * slow staff procedures focussed on booking people in at the front desk. there's no point to checking in or out online if it doesn't save you time and you're told to please wait in line.

The hallways looked very dated and a bit run down. The colours/wall designs are unattractive and I thought these areas really need a refresh to match the simple clean style of the rooms.

The room was very nice, liked the furnishing style and the room was the perfect size for my overnight stay. The desk staff were friendly and helpful, checking in was very quick and easy. Great location near to Chinatown and Central Station.

It would have been nice to be able to let fresh air into the rooms from windows. no air con either meant no airflow, so rooms were stuffy.

Very large kitchens and sitting area. Everything was always clean and staff were always friendly , smiley and chatty.

We were a group of 8 persons; 5 female and 3male booking for consecutive 5 nights stay. I booked 3 Bed in 6-Bed Male Dormitory Room with Shared Bathroom, and 5 Bed in 4-Bed Female Dormitory Room with Shared Bathroom. When we checked in the staff put everyone in 8-bed room. I insisted to stay in the room type that I booked in advance and already got an e mail for confirmation! Firstly, the staff refused to make it be right. The staff said we had to accept the room type they provided or accept the refund. We had an argument. Very disappointed and exhausted. Finally, The staff tried to correct these issues. He offered 5 female staying in 8-bed room with 3 vacancy bed; did not let other guest share that room. It was almost good but he organized 3 male staying in 6-bed room with also 3 vacancy bed, but with the condition that 3 men could stay this room for 4 nights then must move out to the other room for the last night. We were wondering why they made the case too complicate. Very confusion. We just requested him that he might tried his best to organise 3 men stay in that room for consecutive 5 nights because we must go travelling in the morning then might not follow that condition. We thought they could correct this issues for us. When we were back to the room in the last night we found that the staff put all our belongings in our luggage and big plastic bags to move us to other room instead. Never experienced the nasty situation like this before!

No Shampoo&Conditioner Only soap $12 breakfast was very limited like bread, Croissant, small choc capcake, Yoghurt and Orange juice.

Central station is very close. Tram station is in front of the building. We stayed in a private room which has queen size bed and another room has 2 x bunk beds. It was spacious.

Great that there is an attached cafe - although it closed at 9pm they were still prepared to serve me a pie and drink after they were officially closed.

Location close to Central excellent. My en suite bedroom was simply but tastefully furnished, spacious, the bed and bedding good quality and very comfortable, spacious shower, and price very reasonable for the location. The continental breakfast was basic but quite adequate - no complaints there.

It's a YHA so it's always going to be a bit noisier than your average hotel.

Great location, quite comfortable room, with central air con plus an overhead fan. Great TV options and nice tall ceilings.
