More flat pillows are needed to cater for people who do not like high rise pillows. Lighting downstairs was a bit harsh making it uncomfortable to stay downstairs watching TV for a reasonable time. More options to dim the lights and have lights that do not light the stairwell at the same time as the lounge area would be a great improvement. Water facilities are needed downstairs so guests do not have to climb the stairs to get water to bring back down just to make tea or coffee. Perhaps a jug could be provided for example.

Service was slow . Staff were nice and friendly but each time asked for something took ages Shower see through looked good but we weren’t a couple we were mother and son so a bit awkward

Nothing except we had to leave the bar at 6pm due to a private function, but no big deal. We had had our drink and headed off for dinner.

A beautifully renovated boutique hotel in the heart of Sydney, close to central station, opening up onto the lovely spice alley for meals. The most comfortable mattress we have ever had, clean, bright and modern rooms. The hotel bar downstairs was a great spot for happy hour, with some artful renovations. A great pool area upstairs was very private at the time we were there.

The room didn´t have USB ports, useful to international travelers for electronics' connectivity. Also, the rooftop pool was open, but the pool bar wasn´t open, service had to be requested from the bar downstairs, I don´t know if this was temporary or not.

Location was great, very close to interesting areas, dining and public transportation. The property is very cool, a remodelation of an old pub. Rooms are spacious and nice.

Seems a little bit outdated, rooftop pool was open, but had to call reception for service, basically empty. Rooms lack modern connectivity such as USB ports.

Bit noisy especially early mornings but city centre location so maybe no surprise. Toilet in the room could have been a bit more "private"!

This visit is the first time that we felt that the overall cleanliness of the hotel corridors could have been better. The carpet wasn't vacuumed for two days, whilst needing it, during our stay plus multiple paintwork patches for repairs were evident on the corridor walls rather than repainting a whole section requiring repair. Given the price of accommodation, these minor details could have been done better, just a minor disappointment.

Location and high ceilings, overall sie of rooms plus in-room espresso machine. The rooftop bar is a great place to visit on hot afternoons and evenings.

Great quirky property and close to central transport hub making it easy to get around Sydney.

The mens toilets in the basement near the gym reeked, were dirty and had a leaking cistern. The plugs in the sinks in the bathroom in our room didn't hold water. The waiting staff were occasionally forgetful and not fully trained.

The location is superb. The renovation is interesting and funky. The room was very good, comfortable bed, clean, spacious shower, good AC, good wifi.

The pool on the top floor had a lot of cockroaches running around, wasn't the worst and they weren't in the water which was good but was a little bit gross.

ordered from pool area/rooftop with QR code and waited 1 hr for drinks as they forgot. then made a weird drink that was not what I ordered. nil apologies. No outputs to charge phones up there in rooftop lounge area, and nil proper change room.

the room was great, heaps of space, the beds and pillows super comfy. Coffee pods and machine. roof top pool and ability to order through QR code downstairs. restaurant for dinner was great, delicious food.
