Stairs, very inaccessible for disabled people like myself, kitchen was crowded, no communal area. Many fire drills and one at 4 in the morning. Expensive for what it is.

Rate was too much for going into wet season, aircon in the room was super loud and the instructions on the wall say not to turn it off due to condensation

Property is in the centre of the city close to everything, clubs are close and vibe in the city is great. Staff are amazing, job shack inside the hostel is very helpful in finding jobs.

The lack of recycling bins sucked, seeing general waste bins piled high with recyclables was gross. Individually plastic wrapped bread on the complimentary breakfast was wasteful. The wifi didn't work in my room so could not work or stream things on my laptop. My room was close to the bar so had to listen to a lot of people partying every night.

Staff were friendly, Place was clean enough, although the kitchen was feral on the weekend. The pool was nice and handy having a bar onsite. Room was clean and tidy.

Some of the stuff were very rude to the girls in my room :c Also you're not supposed to change the AC settings, but it was super cold in my room. Plus no lifts, only stairs (and 3 floors of rooms). And the breakfast flies easily, if you go at 7:30 you may find it pretty empty..

I loved the pool and the weekly activities People seemed very nice too

The loud music is a little bit annoying after a while. You can’t really escape the party if you want a chill night cause not only the noise from the bar but also from the streets outside is really loud and you can hear everything inside the rooms. Also the bathroom and the toilets were disgusting sometimes and there was almost no room to store any luggage in the hostel rooms.

I didn’t really get a welcoming vibe from some of the staff. I walked up to the reception wanting to check in and I m greeted with a “you alright?”. As a man who have worked for a long time in hospitality you greet guests with a “hi” or a welcome” and “would you like to check in?”. Other hostels I’ve stayed at also notify me on tonight event or schedules on what’s going on. I wasn’t informed by the breakfast times so I missed them when I went out on tours in the mornings. I was going to get some on my last day before check out but there was nothing left even though it was another half hour to go and from what I saw, the breakfast selection was pretty dead and it suits for the young people. I m better off getting my own breakfast. For a random reason a lad started showing off with his bull whip at the pool area, causing disturbance and it’s pretty dangerous. Imagine you are just minding your business, you’ve been out all day and want to relax by the pool for a bit and suddenly loud crack just destroys your peace. A few of the staff were friendly and said hello whenever I walked passed (like you should do) but it seems like most hostels are employing everyone nowadays. :( I know it’s a hostel but I m a customer and it’s my money.

Definitely a party hostel with very loud music at the poolside bar until 11pm on a Wednesday - don't stay here if you want to get an early night!

Very busy hostel with a lot of rooms for a very small kitchen. Also you have to get cutlery from the reception instead of the kitchen. Rooms are very loudly, I slept in a budget room and there was very loud noise from the air conditioning and even vibrations thru the wall and that don't sleep nice.

Very loud from the inside and outside pubs, breakfast quite poor (I know it's included in price but it might be better to get a cheaper hostel without breakfast if other parameters seem similiar) and there is no communial cutlery and dishes for it, saw a small cockroach in the kitchen but it's noting serious compared to some other hotels

Good localization, clean, big room with great AC and personal fridge, washing machines and dryers work well, friendly staff, there is a room service who empties your trash can and sometimes changes towels and bedsheets

The bathrooms and the kitchen are super dirty and gross, i think in those 5 days I stayed, I saw them getting cleaned once.

Great location, they have a pool and a bar which is open until 10pm. All rooms have an air condition which is amazing. Someone will be at reception 24/7.

Unfortunately our rooms were very hard to sleep in on weekend nights due to neighbouring music venues, but nothing some ear plugs couldn’t fix!

The staff were some of the best! Always being greeted and asking about our day made a massive difference. Also full of great advice and tips!
