Aside from the cockroaches in my room, and the room had next to no furniture and certainly no design well hat can you expect. I ask Fira coffee maker, I was told that was not possible. Then my feisty Bajan friend got involved to tell you all that every two bit motel along the road has a coffee maker. It it show up. The object of the exercise is not that you get service eventually , rather that you get it when you ask for it, and you get it with a smile. The smile is particularly lacking in Barbados today. No o even thanked me for coming. No problem we left Barbados in 2017 because we knew it was headed for bad times. The bad times are here. Next time t come to Barbados I will be Ian Urn and I will join my husband in the sea. Because no matter how bad the service this is still the most magnificently beautiful island in the Caribbean . I just regret what has happened to it. Oh do you think today you can have another shooting I St.Michael. Great promotion

the menu at the breakfast was not explained to us or shown us , they have a strange way doing things it’s cheaper to be waited on than self service so in stead of our breakfast costing us $71 it cost $140 crazy I argued this with the f/b manager and she couldn’t see what I was saying , so this was the one and only fault in the hotel

the beach and the rooms were beautiful and the breakfast was fantastic

WiFi was out. Water problems, not the hotels fault but would of liked the hotel to be more proactive. Rather than having to ask for somewhere to shower. A little dated. It could do with a nice bar area and updating.

Pool and beech close together. Big beech space. Nice looking hotel. walking distance to bars and restaurants.

This lovely pink hotel is perfectly situated right on Dover beach. The rooms were clean and very comfortable with a balcony overlooking the sea. They have a fridge, sink and kettle - with a shop and ATM close by to get coffee and milk. The hotel has a very good restaurant right on the beach, free afternoon tea and a well attended happy hour. The joy is the 200 metre frontage which means that the beach is chilled and sparsely occupied - no ghastly seried ranks of sunbeds. That fact that people have been coming here for decades tells you all you need to know. It is an older, friendly crowd. Step out into the Gap and there is a lively bar and restaurant scene on your doorstep.

I originally wanted to return to South Gap Hotel, but it had no availably for one of the nights I needed. I went with this option over some of the cheaper options because I thought the facilities would be nicer, but the hotel (or at least the room I was placed in compared to some of the pictures from the southern end of the property) was very outdated. The sliding patio door was probably older than me and additionally did not lock. I woke up on my final day to 2 large roaches/water bugs in the tub.

Both the restaurant and housekeeping staff were very kind. The restaurant food was decent and reasonably priced. The proximity to the beach was nice as well. You can wake up, grab breakfast and roll on to the beach.

Most of the personal extremely unfriendly, even rude, slow and incompetent. First hotel ever,where I have been charged extra for use of the room safe( 6 Dollars per night)

Location of the hotel was great with an amazing beach (one of the best ones in Barbados in my opinion). View from our room has been stunning which made our quarantine much easier to survive. Hotel staff are extremely helpful and if we ever have the opportunity to come back to Barbados we would definitely choose the same hotel.

The rooms were wayyyyyy too small!

The hotel is close to town and is situated in a cute, vibrant area. A great array of restaurants and nightlife. It is definitely a great place to stay!
