The bathroom needs to be renovated but it has got the hairdryer. The receptionist speaks a very good English although the restaurant staff need to improve it.

I liked the free parking in front of the hotel and the restaurant open until 10 p.m. The room was quite small but comfortable with new furniture. The staff was very kind. The hotel is in a good position between Plovdiv and Veliko Tarnovo in particular if you visit the Buzludzha communist monument. We had a great dinner and a great breakfast in the fashion main lounge which is fantastic if you don't want to leave the hotel and look for food.

Restaurant was booked for celebration events and unavailable for dinner for the hotel guests. It was unpleasant surprise considering the cold weather - we had to walk through the whole city, unable to find a dinner place and ended up at the grocery store .. The restaurant staff was not kind to us on the second day, and even refused to serve coffee and beverage before the event’s start. One of the staff was extremely rude, yelling at me and sending me to get coffee from outside. After complaining at the front desk, the receptionist got engaged and my order was taken and brought to the hotel lobby. The hotel administration should have notified the guests staying at their property about the events taking place, and to recommend making dinner plans ahead of time at other places.

Cleanliness: of the room (I stayed in 116), even if at first sight it was OK, after I moved the beds to merge them I saw a lot of filth under them (being with a little child, it was very difficult to explain to her to not stay on the floor because it is dirty, being used to staying on the floor all the time at home). The bathroom had just a short and thin curtain between the shower and toilet seat, so it was very difficult to keep the floor dry (we didn't have any towel for the bathroom floor) and it was mold on the frame of the door. Breakfast: was good but very poor in diversity - no omlette, only hard boiled eggs, only one type of cheese, one type of meats, no juices (only coffee, tea and milk).

The smell in the bathroom due to Water installation - the door had to be kept open. No possibility to încrease heat in the room - Air conditioning not working. The elevator being very small - just two people and a suitcase.

Bathroom needs refreshment. the door operate with usual key, but not with cards, which is not so comfy

this is one good hotel, located in the city centre. the most famous restaurant in Gabrovo, restaurant Rest is only 5 min. walking from the hotel. But: it is obvious that the hotel needs some refreshment works. especialy bathrooms are old and not so comfy. Over all it was good experience to have 2 nights there with my beloved woman.
