Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

RomaniaThe hotel needs light maintenance work. Thus, the door from the balcony worked hard and the mosquito net was missing. I loose a half an hour to understand how the safe is working. Maybe some detailed instructions would be helpful because the existing ones are hard to understand
Nice clean hotel. Confortable mattress. The staff is helpful. Indoor and outdoor pool with Jacuzzis. Small and beautiful garden. Quiet area 10 minutes' walk from the sand beach with hourly transportation. Average brekfast. Lunch and dinner with some pleasent surprises. The hotel beach has free sunbeds and a beachbar with drinks, as well as access to a pizzeria, all for free if you have all inclusive. Drinks included are good.

BulgariaThe restaurants, the SPA zones, and the pool's working schedule were a bit inconvenient for the plethora of guests. I found it difficult to have a great vacation, constantly having their working time as a main priority. Several bars were commercialized in Booking as working, but they were not (Rooftop bar Marakesh and bar London). For sure many things can be fixed and refurbished. I saw a plethora of things that used to be great back in the day but are old and in bad condition. Some of them are just as inoperative as my showerhead. The outside pool water was a bit cold and I wasn't the only one who noticed that. The hotel has a private bus to the beach and back which has its own area for improvement. You can occur with just the intention of getting the bus because it's just not coming. I'd definitely rethink the fifth star!
I liked the sauna and the majority of the hotel. The private beach was in good condition, maintained, and with comfortable sunbeds. The gym was clean and tidy. The gym was operating with Technogym equipment, which was great. Private bus to the beach and back. Free Parking And special thanks to the staff. I saw how they were trying their best to answer all our requests.

The hotel offered everything that it was said.

Romania--- it was not possible for the two rooms in this reservation to be close together as I requested (?!) - I admit that they were still on the same level --- the room configuration request was not respected (I requested two rooms, each with 2 twin beds + 1 sofa) --- the request not to be near the elevator was not respected (see room 408) --- the blasé attitude of the reception staff (here I specifically mention the two guys), totally uninvolved in the requests made. I mention like example: # how do I arrive and how do I make a reservation at the SPA area? # if there is the possibility to buy swimwear from the hotel? # where I can watch a football match if the respective TV program is not in the TV program grid in the room? Fortunately, we found a very kind lady (whom we saw in the restaurant area) and who helped us watch the match on a projector in the pub area
I must mention that it was not the first time I stayed at Therma Palace! +++ sea view +++ cleanliness in the room +++ the diversity and good taste of the culinary dishes served +++ the kindness of the staff in the restaurant and SPA area - (I emphasize the restaurant and SPA areas) +++ excellent approach regarding the free provision of a coffee espresso machine for all customers (reception area)

We had half board, the meals were ok, not spectacular, enough to say that you eat something. Spa area with all necessary, massage to expensive.

BulgariaIt is definitely NOT beachfront. With a 3-year-old that’s important information. There was never fish or vegetarian on the menu, I find that very surprising for a hotel that claims to be 5 stars.
The place is quiet. Comfortable beds.

RomaniaThe services. Among the advertised services expected to be included in the all inclusive package, was the shuttlebus for the beach. In the first day, the schedule of the shuttlebus was posted in the reception. We've waited for about 15-20 minutes and the bus didn't showed up. After asking in the reception and being told that the bus will show up in 5 minutes, waiting for another 15 minutes we gave up on waiting. The third day, the schedule was not posted anymore. After the breakfast we've asked the receptionist to call for the shuttlebus, in order to leave in 15-20 minutes. We've been told that is not the case as the shuttle bus will come RIGHT AWAY. After 20 minutes, we asked the receptionist to call for the shuttlebus as we were prepared to go to the beach. We've waited for another 20 minutes without nobody showing up. When asking the receptionist about it, he motivated that the shuttlebus driver also has another job !!!!!! After another 10 minutes, asking again the receptionist he told us the shuttlebus was already waiting us in its station. Grabbed the child, went to the station and suprise....NO SHUTTLEBUS. Coming back in the reception, asked to call with the manager (Irina Draganova), explained the situation, went back in the station, the shuttlebus finally arrived. In order to understand, there are about 800 m - 1000 m to the beach, through some dusty paths where a lot of tractors are passing due to the villas that are being constructed now. Doing this walk with a 3 years old child in your arms is not the greatest experience. Regarding the pool and the jacuzzi. There was a rule saying that no more than 15 minutes are recommended for a person in the jaccuzi. There was a group of Bulgarian people (4 men) who didn't seemed to take care about the rule. When telling the poolman/lifeguard about this fact (the people already had more than 2 hours in the jacuzzi), he took no measures.
Nice, spacious, comfortable room. Big shoutout for Irina Draganova (front desk) and Vladimir Manolov (waiter) who always were there to help. Nice area with a lot of vegetation.

RomaniaThe parking needs to be improved a bit and the way to the beach; Beach is about 1km from the hotel but in same places the working site nearby was making a bit tough to get there.
Spa was really good, although the steam bath was not working; water very clean and really warm - very good for families with kids. Big rooms w Very friendly stuff and good services; food very good and freshly made; When we've been there the beach was not ready for the tourists but I assume should be good also;

AustraliaThe food, compared to what we enjoyed 2 years ago when we first came here, it's just not the same. Hard to chew pork and gummy beef. Too many fried options such as chips and fried cheese. Pasta with no color or taste, tasteless desert. Coffee from a machine with 10 options of cappuccino, I'd have loved a real coffee brew. Then cleaning, I found a ball of hair on the floor in my bedroom. On the hallway outside of our room there were dirty plates and glasses and fruit leftovers left by other guests, with no staff to cleaned this for the 2 days we were there...
The pools are great, especially when outside it's 0 degrees.

Romania1. All inclusive not worth the money. Besides accommodation, pools and food - didn't feel like an AI costumer. No drinks list, you had to guess what's included, almost no snacks - the only worthy snacks are at another hotel..10 min walk..not convenient for everybody. Out of the 4 or 5 bars only one working and there was rarely somebody to serve there. 2. Coffee made at nespresso machine in room is charged, even for AI costumers - this is just silly! Beach bar also not included for AI. 3. Kitchen in apartment is a big joke - it's only furniture!! There aren't even cups for coffee available in room. The kitchen is unusable. And I know not many people come to 5 stars hotels to cook, but I needed it to make my baby's food and was very disappointed that I didn't even have a plate or a spoon in that so called kitchen, especially since there is no baby corner in AI food, like in other hotels. I drank coffee in plastic cups that you find at automated machines in a 5 star all inclusive hotel..not a fancy experience at all. No wine glasses wither. 4. Bedroom in apartment small - no space for baby cot. 5. Distance to beach - too far from the beach, 10-15 min walk, not good when traveling with baby/kids. 6. Design - classy wanna be, but opulent and kitsch. Also not very good quality of the design elements.
1. Thermal and SPA facilities - great for relaxing and a reason to visit this hotel. Note that the big outdoor pool is not thermal, only the small outdoor jacuzzy, but there's an indoor thermal pool + indoor warm pools for kids. 2. Food - dinner was very good, but all food was better than expected. 3. Good wifi. 4. Nice garden. 5. Apartment (bedroom + living room) with big terrace - comfortable huge bed (great for bed sharing with baby) , comfortable sofa in living room, big bathroom with shower and bathtub. Bathrobes and beach towels included. 6. Quiet, relaxing. 7. Beach - beautiful, beach beds included for AI

RomaniaThe area between the hotel garden and the beach seems abandoned and there is a lot of wild vegetation growing there. If that would be looked after it could turn into a lovely park!!! Now it is an extremely sad and unpleasant patch of land on the way to the beach.
Excellent hotel with very good facilities and very clean. We enjoyed a lot the pools both indoors and the outdoors. The food was nice and they had a good variety. Also, the hotel has a nice garden.
