There is self check-in system in the hotel. The receptionist will give you the password and every details before your arrival. The rooms were clean. The breakfast was delicious. The hospitality was good. The staff is helpful. I recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel with good size and clean room. Has private bathroom. Conveniently located in a historical old city within 10 min walk to the center. The charming courtyard is a additional benefit. The host Maria was very helpful and responsive to every request.

Unfortunately the building needs to be renovated. Our room was very dusty and not properly cleaned. There were lots of spider webs. The bathroom is very old with broken parts. Our bed had a short bed sheet so during the night we slept directly on the mattress which is really uncomfortable! The breakfast room is very dark. The lady told us that it's a difficult moment so we wish her and the hotel all the best because it could be a special place!

I enjoyed the position in the old town. The building is a typical one and there is free parking in a private street. Be careful that is a street made of old irregular stones! There is a garden and hot/cold water for free. The lady that welcomed us is very friendly and kind, it was a pleasure to speak with her and ask advices. She made us choose the room we preferred and we chose the light blue one. Each room has got a different colour and it's painted in a traditional typical way so that you can feel the ancient Plovdiv vibe! Breakfast was ok.

The bed was a bit soft for us and the pillows very lumpy. As we were the only guests the central heating wasn't turned on. The bathroom was freezing. The only heating was a fan heater in the bedroom.

The young lady on reception was extremely helpful and very welcoming. We were the only two guests in the hotel We were able to park our car inside the hotel yard behind secure gates. The breakfast provided for us was excellent and very good value. Probably the best breakfast we have had in any hotel in Bulgaria.

The hotel is newly bought, so there are still things needed to be improved - it is very well kept, clean and with great charm but still has to improve the garden, the reception, perhaps add place where one could buy water or coffee on the premises

Incredible atmosphere, very well preserved old building with charm and character, which adds magical touch to the stay in Plovdiv. It’s setting in the old town of the city makes it a perfect choice and further adds to a unique and incredible experience.

This hotel is a very special and lovely place to stay. My partner and I stayed for three nights and felt so welcome. Our room was beautiful (and huge!) and was comfortable and clean. Our hosts gave us lots of information about things to see and do - the hotel is also in the old town which is a very pretty and relaxing part of the city. We also had breakfast at the hotel which was always lovely - a buffet style breakfast with great coffee. Overall we really recommend this hotel for a happy stay in Plovdiv!

Excellent location, although difficult to access with suitcases. The owner's wife (who speaks better French than English) was really helpful in getting us a taxi and taking us to the pickup point. We were upgraded to the family "apartment" which was quite luxurious.

The hotel is on a quiet street and not far from the main centre of Plovdiv. Our room was spacious with a comfortable sofa. The bed was a bit hard, and also a bit noisy as the wooden frame creaked when we moved. The bottom sheet was not big enough for the bed, so this got crumpled up in the night, which was not so comfortable. Breakfast was good, with a good choice. We were able to park our car inside the hotel gates, which was very good for us. I had messaged the hotel to find out about vehicle access into the Old Town, but they took a while to answer and I didn't see their reply before I arrived. Fortunately we were able to get access through the parking barrier without any issues.

Nice, quiet place in the old town of Plovdiv. The staff is very kind and helpful. Very close to the hotel is full of historic sites and museums. The ancient theatre is nearby, a lovely place for concerts. The "Kapana" area is full of various small restaurants, food corners, cafes.

Friendly, helpful staff. Booked my taxi when I left, showed me where to get the taxi outside the pedestrian zone, made me a packed breakfast and rang to check I got to the bus station ok. Wonderful location for hotel and Bulgarian revival style so characterful.
