Great location , in the middle of old town, 5-10 minutes walk to any of the attractions. Very helpful staff - ready to assist with any question. Good breakfast, free vine in the evening. Recommended very much.

I had a good rest at the accommodation in the old town. The staff's service was really good. The free wine and various services warmed my heart. In particular, a welcome greeting was given using a name that had been identified in advance. Breakfast was elegant and plentiful. I really liked the antique accommodation. However, I wish the bed were harder and wider.

A wonderful welcome (with homemade lemonade) to a beautifully restored and furnished hotel was a great start. The pillow choice was amazing. The information on the surrounding area was outstanding. Great breakfast too. And the complimentary wine and cheese was a nice touch.

Lovely old house on the edge of the old town. Very welcoming. When we arrived we were given glasses of delicious fresh lemonade and lots of good recommendations and information about what to see and where to eat. Also a free small bottle of wine and a taste of local cheese. Good breakfast too. Thoroughly recommend.

Small gripes considering how good everything else was - there was no plug in the bathroom sink and the replacement shower head did not fit in the clip on the wall, so it had to be handheld. The old-style building and wooden floorboards meant that sound carried through the hotel. The offer of a free glass of red wine was only available for the first night and the stock was not replenished after the second night (to be fair, I didn't raise it with them as I felt it was a bit churlish to ask!)

Without doubt, the best welcome I have ever had from a hotel. My name was written on a 'welcome board' in reception, I was sat down with a glass of refreshing homemade lemonade and even offered alternative pillows if not happy with what I had. Super spreads at breakfast with a vast array on offer, including homemade jam and chutney. All freshly made. Location was in the heart of the old town and everywhere was within easy walking distance. All the staff were very friendly and the owner/manager personally arranged a private driver to take us on a day trip (at very reasonable cost) out of Plovdiv for the day. All exceptional, amazing service. The hotel was full of character and reflected old style Bulgarian tastes - if you want a bland, modern hotel, then don't stay here - if you want personality and charm and a taste of Bulgarian hospitality, this is a must.

The location in beautiful Old Plovdiv was ideal for us because it was close to the conference venue which was the reason for our visit. If you want a small, friendly, family hotel, this is the place to go. There was plenty of fresh and delicious local food for breakfast. The beds were comfortable, the room clean and spacious, and suited our needs perfectly.

We were welcomed very warmly. They gave welcome wines as a gift. We felt like we were at home. Breakfast was super. The location was very good for us. We were right in the center because we wanted to see the old houses. We walked everywhere. There was no parking problem either. They reserved a place for us. Everyone was very polite. We made the right choice.

So much attention to detail. We were greeted by a member of staff who sat down with us to take us through the details of the hotel and things to do and places to eat, as we sipped their home made lemonade. The room was amazing, very spacious with lovely old-fashioned styling. The cheese and wine before we went out each night was very much appreciated. Breakfast was very nicely laid out with a variety of cereal, meat, cheese, yoghurt and bread. It's in an excellent location in the old town, with some of the main places to visit within close walking distance. It is also very close to the Kapana area where there are many places to eat. It was just a couple of of minutes from the bus we took from the bus station.

What a perfect location. Ideally situated for the historic sights of Old Town and just a hop skip and a jump from the excellent restaurants of Kapana. We loved the old times charm of the hotel's decor. Even with freezing temps our room was super warm. Our wonderful host was so friendly and welcoming. My normal top criteria for rating a facility is the shower but even our wonky shower head and not quite as hot as I'd like it water could not drop my excellent rating this time! Highly recommended.

There wasn't anything not to like!

We enjoyed everything about our stay. The location was excellent, right in the center of the old town and at the same time, very close to the nearby "bohemian neighborhood," where all the bars and restaurants are. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. All the staff was polite and helpful and definitely went the extra mile to make our stay more memorable and comfortable. The location of this period house was perfect- right in the middle of the old town with a short cut to walk to the bohemian district with the bars and restaurants.

This was my second stay at the hotel and again, everything was wonderful. The staff is friendly and helpful, the interior is beautiful, the location is perfect for walking around in the old town and in Kapana, and the breakfast is delicious. We'd be happy to go back again.

Room 11 needed some maintenance - loose fixtures in the bathroom. Needs place for luggage off the floor. (Also, it’s made to look old - but it’s not really.)
