The open concept of bathroom, without any divider between the shower and rest of space, causing water to be everywhere. While some rooms have a view on the Danube River, other have it on the backstreet. I got the room with the less pleasant/interesting view.

Very central location (5min by foot from railway and bus station, 10min from Baba Vida Fortress) on the Danube River bank; lovely and comfy room; kind and helpful stuff (very early check out was not a problem).

There were no kettle or cups in the room to prepare some coffee or tea. The bathroom was poorly organized: a huge water heater was positioned right in front of the sink (!!). On the bath tap, the red sign was connected to cold water and blue to hot, making the situation confusing. But the worst thing is that the shower floor is at the bathroom level, meaning that whenever someone takes a shower the entire bathroom is flooded... Finally, there is a strange smell at the reception and the halls (not in the room though).

The location is superb. Our apartment had a balcony right on the Danube, offering an incredible view on the river. The living room was also very comfortable. Excellent value for money. Easy to access, a lot of free parking space, very close to downtown. Coffee maker at the reception.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Big room with fridge, bathroom. Laundry service for € 5,- , coffee machine downstairs. Unique hotel with a lot of art in the lobby and corridors. Great view on Danube river and 5 minute walk from centre / central station.

The Wi-Fi is absolutely unworkable. You get routinely disconnected and there's no way you can work from the room, let alone upload anything. Even uploading a picture can take dozens of minutes. It doesn't get better on the hallways either.

Great value for the money if you're in transit through the town. Just two minutes walk from the railway station and located facing the Danube. If you happen to be in town during warmer days, it's indeed lovely to take walks around the neighborhood too. Make sure you speak Russian, Bulgarian or Romanian. The staff does not speak English basically at all. If you do speak Russian or Romanian, you can get free coffee, which was nice.

A lil thing that is most likely on their future to do list: the bathroom and pipes do show signs of ageing so it is not for the picky ones.

We found the hotel suitable for a one night stay. It is conveniently located near the centre. The beds and towels were clean. The room did have Ac.

The noise. I could hear people taking a shower, talking, brushing their teeth, or just using the tap. The walls are obviously not insulated against noise and neither are the pipes. The floor seemed very thin as well. That is my only complaint regarding this hotel.

I loved that my room was very neat, cozy and had a view of the Danube River. The location was also very good and it was near one of the best restaurants in the town.

The hotel is a little bit aged but everything was clean and okay. It was perfect for a short overnight stay. The breakfast could have been a little bit more extensive.

The room was not clean enough. There was a smell of cigarettes, disgusting! There was no hot water because the boiler in the bathroom was not turned on. The lighting was gloomy.

The advertised breakfast doesn't exist anymore. Just a cup of coffe. I was told at the desk that there were all the UK tv channels on my tv. A total lie - there were none. For having my car in the car park an hour after checkout time I got shouted at until I moved it, This is no way to treat guests. I would rather sleep in the park. I will never, never, never go there again.

The 80s called and they want that hotel back. Carpets on the floors, a terrible smell (thr carpets probably absorbed it from the times there were no smoking bans), the matress was probably from the 80s as well. The boiler is above the sink, every time I used the sink I bumped into the boiler. The hot water ended after about 7-8 minutes, so if you planned a long shower, or god forbid, 2 showers for 2 people - foeget it. The reception lady didn't speak a word in English, so even attempting to ask for an advice was useless. Overall not an 'avoid at all cost', but 'avoid if possible'

The free parking right in front of the hotel,the A/C was working fine, the reception lady kinda sorta understood Russian, though couldn't speak it. The wifi worked good.
