Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

NetherlandsThe advertised spa facilities are not operational. Work was being done on the roof right outside my room so I didn't really have privacy and it was a bit noisy with people talking and yelling outside on the balcony and in the hallway. The room was dusty.
It was fine for one night. The museum in the basement is really interesting, a nice surprise. Good restaurant downstairs.

Perfect location. The entrance of the museum of socialism cars is actually inside the lobby :) 2 minutes to the city center. Comfortable room with spaceous bathroom.

IrelandOn website Booking.com i booked a room with breakfast included but after breakfast they asked us to pay. Food was not nice and I paid for it as don't wanted to make a drama. Lady on reception was nice she was trying to help.

AustriaThey advertise double/twin rooms with 1 large size bed(optionally). It turned out that this option is only available in Junior Suite and Suite. The mattress in the junior suite as well as in my parents double room were very uncomfortable (extremely soft) and sleeping was not as I would wish for.
The staff were very kind and helpful. The rooms look nice and clean and they are air conditioned

The price of this place is fair, but the comfort is low, especially the beds, and the food is bad. The staff was very friendly, which compensated a bit the overall experience. The location is great, in the middle of the village, and the same building hosts a Communist Car Museum, which was the main reason we visited.
