BulgariaThe lifts are around 50y.o. and the feeling in them while being transported 12 floors up is very extreme for the lack of better words. The floor we were put on was under repair. The water heater malfunctioned the second night. The air conditioning wasn’t able to properly heat the two rooms. Vent doors were randomly falling off the walls. The cold water is undrinkable and there is a staff notice for that in the bathroom.

BulgariaSOS warning. Never stay in this so called 3* hotel Paid for an apartment Ha ha. Supposed to have a kitchenette. One elderly fridge freezer not even turned on. Cold water, until we turned on the boiler.Most guests wouldn't be able to locate the switch. Bath panel half off. Bathroom smelt slightly like sewage. No covers on the duvets. Didn't use them! Breakfast:- no self service drinks asked for coffee and received a cold cup of coffee. Cold scrambled egg. Miserable unhelpful member of staff. Asked for fresh orange juice given very cheap strong orange squash. Absolutely horrible experience never to be repeated.

IsraelThe room was definitely overpriced, I'm sorry but this type of room isn't worth 50 BGN a night (if it was 40 a night, you wouldn't hear a word from me), the toilet was not properly attached to the floor and the breakfast was bad.
Very good staff, easy check-in (and out), cute view to the river and the free pass to the gym was a nice bonus.

NetherlandsThe rooms were old and dirty. The floor carpet and bathroom - dirty. The bathroom ceiling had fongus (moisture damage) and on the bathroom floor was dirt/dust as well. The elevators were also quite old and concerning. Overal the building and rooms are crying for repair and renovation. Despite of all this, the beds and sheets were clean and comfy which was just what we needed!
Clean beds and sheets. After a car trip of almost 900km, it is good to have a place to sleep and stretch out your feet. The staff was also friendly and the breakfast was descent. The location was also pretty good with a view of the river.

HungaryThis is not a hotel. This is a catastrophy. Unfortunately I had to stay 4 nights in this place. They don't make up/clean the room daily in spite of my strong protest only AFTER the departure of the guest. 4 days with the same towel. The reception starts functioning only at 07.00 AM no way to get an invoice before that. The staff does not speak English. There was no responsible person available to talk to. Who rates this place as a 3-star hotel?.
