Quite close to the beaten path, but quiet enough for you to have a good night of sleep. heaps of restaurants and pubs around the hostel too. The hostels breakfast is great too.

We only stayed at the hostel for one night, but were very impressed. It's very organized and clean, very well-located and the staff (esp. Bruna) is incredible. We were glad to see there was an A/C in the room, because it was really hot. We didn't have time to jump in the pool or do many activities, but for our needs it was perfect.

Local Hostel Manaus is great! The staff were super kind. The location just around the corner from the theatre and the hostel was really fun with activities and a nice common area.

The breakfast service started early, so on the days we didn’t go out early we were woken up by people below. The shared men’s bathroom were slightly small and always seemed busy. The pool - although it’s not their fault - was out of use when we wanted to use it.

The hostel was on a great location right next to the main square, they offered breakfast (to be paid for) which was a great extra it filled us up before our long days. The staff were fantastic, really friendly and welcoming and helped us when something went wrong. They even store luggage while you are away doing Amazon tours.

The overnight Amazon tour by the hostel's partner, Iguana Turismo, needs improvement, in covering the unique issues of the Amazon including plants and animals and lifestyle, and in English descriptions and overall guiding. The local guides need training. Some in my group left early as a result.

Excellent hostel in all respects. Outstanding staff and front desk team provided excellent service from check in (accompanying you to room) to info throughout stay. Comfortable beds with plug and light. Air conditioning for most of day and night. Large lockers. Lounge area with sofas and writing tables and plugs. Good continental buffet breakfast with different fruits, breads, cold cuts, and strong coffee.

It's a shame that the breakfast is not included, they charge 25 reais which I thought was a bit much.

Simple and clean hostel, the staff was helpful. Good AC in the rooms, didn't get too warm during the night, and there were nice little curtains on the beds to get some privacy. The shared bathroom was in the corridor, and was clean and tidy.

went to the physiotherapist because of inflamación he recommended me staying in better bed ( different place). beds are bit soft at the hostel, explained this to staff but wouldn’t let me cancel even though i extended only some hours before and was still early.

only thing was that there was no air conditioned public space and the room air conditioning was only turning on from 4pm through 10am, leaving the warmest hours of the day without air-con 😅

Aircon is very strong in the dorms so make sure to ask for a warmer blanket (free of charge) if you're sensitive

The support only works via WhatsApp, no chance to reach someone via booking.com. The dorms are quite small and some of the lockers are even outside the room. Some lockers won’t allow to use proper locks as the whole to put it through is way too small.

The hostel was in general quite clean, the staff friendly & helpful. It’s a good option to stay if you’re heading into the jungle and need a lay over in Manaus. The location is really good to see something in the centre & there’s an option to leave your luggage while you’re heading to the jungle for a small fee.

One of the cleanest hostels I've stayed at with attentive and friendly staff that all referred to me by name. A beautiful personal touch that is incredibly impressive considering their turnover of guests. Would definitely stay again If I was returning to Manaus. The location is easily accessible from the port and is less than 100m from the opera house.
