Location, location, Location!! Alma is perfectly situated 30-40 mins drive to Hopewell Rocks Park and also at the entrance to Fundy National Park! Alpine is right in the middle of town. There is a gas station, bakery and lots of lobster restaurants, but nothing that really stands out! The Alpine has a wonderful backyard green space overlooking the harbour and adjoining beach. If you have a dog, please be aware that it’s home to a ground hog! Also there are two beach access areas for your dog. One is by the Alma Lobster shop across the river bridge and the other is across from the Canadian flag at the entrance to Fundy Park. The motor inn is pretty basic with the smallest bathroom I’ve experienced! So small that the towels are located in the bedroom area with vanity sink. If it’s humid, there is no air conditioning. You really are paying for the convenient location!

The bathroom was small. The shower and toilet was separate from the sink and it was very small. The door was hard to close cause of the location of the toilet. The shower was very small. That is the only thing we had an issue. The bed was comfortable.

Busy motel so could see potential for it being noisy at times, although it was fine when we were there.

Popular and functional motel with a good size room, including kitchenette. Close location to Fundy NP and easy walk to the variety of restaurants in Alma (recommend a short walk up the road to the Holy Whale Brewing Co if you fancy a late afternoon/early evening drink)

There are no complaints.

The location and view were terrific. Chairs were available to relax and enjoy the view. We saw couples, families, and friends enjoying themselves. Great location for other attractions too.

Only the rainy weather curtailed our activities in Alma.

Breakfast was a tasty continental meal. The location of the motor inn is wonderful so close to the water and in the middle of the quaint town of Alma.

Although ample accomodations, the bedspread was outdated as well as furnishings. It would be great for these to be updated to more modern styles.

The room was simple, but it was wonderful that we had access to a kitchenette with dishes and cooking items in our room, with a compact table and small refrigerator. Plenty of linens provided. The beds were comfortable. We were finishing up our vacation, so we had items in our cooler that needed refrigeration and this met our needs! The view of the Bay of Fundy is literally right outside the door. The adirondack chairs by the water were a perfect spot to read a book, watch a sunset or have a morning cup of coffee. The staff were friendly and helpful!

Our room was not ready because we arrived earlier than expected. Our room was cleaned and readied for us within 45 minutes! Staff was great.

There was no breakfast. Ended up buying a loaf of bread and eating it over the next few days. Not a good town to find a good breakfast in. The view of the tides was great.

Traditional motel room but clean & comfortable for two. Ample parking. Convenient for Alma facilities and access to Fundy Natural Park. Good baker shop next door!

Loud tenants' motorcycles, had to ask to have the room cleaned twice, but after the second request it was done quickly

We'd been staying at BvB's and hotels so I was hesitant to book a motel, which I thought would be noisy and poorly furnished. I was wrong. It was well decorated, quiet considering rooms were lined up next to each other, and it had a fridge, a microwave, coffee maker, and plates and mugs, unlike some of the hotels with kitchenettes we'd stayed in. It was in the middle of the tiny town of Alma, close to restaurants and the Fundy Park, and had a lawn with Adirondack chairs facing the water.
