The location is NOT in downtown Banff but at the edge of town. 15-20 min walk to breakfast/downtown and complimentary bus service which is a nice perk but waiting for the bus is problematic as it doesn’t run on time. The property has no onsite management and the keyless entry/checkin process is flawed at the least and at best horrible and inefficient. There is a block and half walk to the Caribou Lodge to remedy this situation.

The bed was very comfortable and the shower was updated, modern, large with good water pressure and amenities.

Cute boutique motel updated with all the modern amenities in a quiet location just off the main street in Banff. Easily walkable to downtown attractions and restaurants. Hop on/Hop off bus service a minute's walk from the motel as well.

The Motel is slightly on the edge of town in an area that is clearly being redeveloped. It was a 20-25min walk into town, though not a problem for us, elderly visitors might have to drive or take a bus into town. We really appreciated the cleaning service.

The room was clean, well designed and roomy. The facilities were OK and the car parking facilities were good. The cleaning service was first class. Really happy with the rooms. Views from the doorstep were outstanding.

The mobile key on the app didn’t work for me but I think it might’ve been my fault. I didn’t have any wifi or signal when trying to activate it! Just keep that in mind before checking in

LOVED this property. The rooms were beautiful and very clean. Very close to downtown (5 mins car ride, 20 min walk). There is a gas station walking distance that was convenient when we needed snacks and they also had a water dispenser if you needed to fill up a camel back or water bottles.

A bit disconcerting that there was no staff actually there, but we were given adequate instructions of how to collect key and access any assistance. We needed to get someone to organise a plumber, as the toilet developed a leak.

The bed was super comfy. The shower was large and great to use. The room was a good size and we found it to be clean and comfortable. The location was a little way from the main town centre, but we enjoyed this, as it was a nice walk each day to go to the various activities we had planned or to do some shopping. We liked the setting, backing onto some pine trees, and it was handy being close to a small shop, if we needed something small, like a carton of milk.

Check in must be done in separate building as there is no reception on this one. There is not an elevator. If you stay in second floor, you will need to carry your bags upstairs. But these are not such a big issue.

The external appearance does not match the internal. Rooms are very beautiful and spacious. Good beds, space to organize everything and super nice bathroom. Parking is free of charge.

Second floor room was nicely renovated, modern, comfortable and with very good lighting. Clean rooms and very good staff. Nice view of large outdoor space with many places to enjoy in sun or shade. Room had air conditioning, a primary reason we selected The Dorothy.

Not really much anything. Perhaps the exterior throws you off a bit but when you get inside the room, you will love it.

Room is artsy and beautiful with paintings on the wall and decorations / customizes cups. I love the big mirrors, the view of the courtyard and the free access to the hot pool and sauna. I had such nice sleeps in the comfy bed and the nice lighting.
