A lovely place to stay. Very clean and cosy. Easy to find from the airport on the bus, get off at Cannon St and walk 4 blocks and it's on the corner. Free cereals and fresh milk, a bonus. Great kitchen with everything you need.

Parts of the surrounding neighbourhood were not very good.

Good value place close to downtown Hamilton. The owner was very helpful and friendly. There were nice kitchen and common room areas. Facilities were well maintained.

It’s all good for us.

It’s a very cozy place. It is close to everything we need and if we can’t walk cabs are readily available. This was our third year staying here and we will again!

This is the best youth hostel I have ever stayed in, it is very clean, the house is cosy, there are many items provided, you are very kind and friendly, I feel that you are very attentive to the management, I really want to stay here a little longer.

Nothing everything was perfect

The location was very good close to all restaurants and another food shop,also close from bus station coming from airport. Owner very friendly and nice. Guesthouse was a little bit old fashion but very clean with all necessary things you need for your staying (towel shampoo gel shower etc).Definitely recommend to all backpackers and couple who want saving money. We had lovely time.

The Hosts Tim and Tanya were very friendly and helpful. The guesthouse itself was very clean and comfortable, complete with a kitchen where you can help yourself to breakfast. Perfect if you're travelling solo. Also, excellent value for money.

I hardly ever found a hostel so perfect. No towering squeaky bed frames, cozy and quite elegant environment, super available owner, decent price for the area, great location. No drawbacks on this one, if I'm ever back to Hamilton I know where I'll be staying!

Unfortunately, our room was right next to the kitchen. We were not able to sleep in because of the noises from people having breakfast in the morning. The room also has a faint chemical smell. It didn't bother me but if you are sensitive to smell, it might be an issue for you.

For a hostel, Pring Guesthouse is excellent with a very affordable pricing. The owner was friendly and very helpful, let us checking in late, and showed us around the building before leading us to our room. Free breakfast with a variety of cereals and milk. The kitchen is very well stocked with utensils, cups, bowls, cooking equipment, a kettle, a coffee machine and etc. We did not cook in the kitchen but I am sure one can easily utilize the kitchen fully. I am most impressed by the washrooms! Lots of washrooms on site and they are SUPER CLEAN with lots of free, clean and absorbent towels. Super easy to check in and check out too.

The friendly welcome, historic character and cleanliness of this hostel made it a wonderful stay. I loved the bonuses - like a plate of cookies in the common room plus free cereal and coffee for breakfast.

Hot water in the shower takes a long time to wait.

I liked the fact that no one disturbed us during our 3-day stay. We met the owner just once at the check-in, everything else was automated, non-invasive, smooth, and relaxed. We booked a separate room next to the door. At first, I thought it would be too noisy, but it was not a problem. There is a place to eat, a place to park a car, a place to do laundry - I'd say it's like staying in the house of your not-so-close relative who's busy with their own stuff and don't bug you at all :)

The staff is absolutely great, this is a place with a super super high vibe, very cosy and welcoming. The house has everything you might need, from the kitchen, bathroom and toilets and common areas. Free cereals and milk along with free coffee and tea are available as well. Definitely recommended, would book again

Super atmospheric and beautiful place! We are first time in Canada, and this place is real Canadian home, it like being in a family as guest. Everything is clean, and up to your disposal. Bus stop is near, very close to the downtown, street with restaurants is a few blocks away. Owners are super sweet and helpful!

My room was situated beside the information area and there was a check in at 2 am,the sound was pretty loud woke me up.
