Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

MexicoThe rooms have very poor insulation for sound and you could hear all the noise from people passing by the room's corridor. The AC was very load and level 1 wasn't working, so at night it was either leave it on Level 2 (with a lot of noise and air) or turned off. I travelled during summer and that wasn't really an option since the room would get too warm too quickly.
The hotel's design is very chic and the personnel was very professional. The bed was very comfortable and the toiletries were great, also the mini bar set-up looked very complete which is appreciated. Hotel's location is also very good.

GermanyOnly a very minor point - the gym was not yet upadated to the promised "state-of-the art" yet - once that is done there will be nothing at all to complain about.
The room was nice, spacious and comfortable. It was serviced daily which was appreciated. The location is away from (but close enough to walk to) the main touristy area which was a definite bonus for us. The staff were very helpful indeed and seemed genuinely pleased to assist. The valet parking was a bit pricey – but the car was returned promptly and without any problem. So a plus again rather than having to park in an open public parking lot.

The staff is super friendly and helpful. Great concierge services. We loved the large gym room where our boys could play basketball (!) and table tennis. Very family-friendly hotel. We liked the personal and attentive attitude towards the guests. Very knowledgeable sommelier in the restaurant/bar.
