Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

CanadaThe floors are uneven. The stairs are crooked. The building feels and looks like it is going to fall over. The room was in disrepair from the bathroom to the holes in the wall and ceiling. The floor had was sinking to one side so the bed and the desk were on a tilt. There was a fan on the roof of the building that must have thrown a bearing because it was squealing all night long.
Location was fine. Heard the train but it was not overbearing. Staff were great.

CanadaCarpet in room covered some sort of hole, became a tripping hazard Not only were the bathrooms outdated, but cracked tile/grout, shower had zero water pressure and toilet hardly flushed . Some major upkeep needs to happen.

CanadaThere was an odor (smoke, musty) when we 1st came into the room, we were able to air it out a bit by opening the window. Train tracks were right outside the window so we had to close the window while sleeping to reduce the noise. Tub/toilet are in a really small room, the door swung into the toilet so it was super tight accessing the washroom. The toilet was very low to the ground in need of an upgrade to a higher one. Bed was comfortable but the pillows were not. Everything (rooms,, hallways, pool area etc.) looked tired could use a refresh/renovation.
Very accommodating with our request for a main floor room, very friendly.
