I am not complaining, but I think someone should fix some things like the hook to keep the toilet in the bathroom door broken, the bench in front of the bed was in the bad conditions, the bathroom floor was grimy and cracked. Maybe something activities during the winter time should be great. Another suggestion to improve the breakfast. $24.00 should have been offered more options or give us the option to order an a la cart breakfast like fried eggs, natural juce, cheese. Again, I am not complaining about this, but next time I will probably skip breakfast.

It was my fourth Christmas there, and I am not regret that. I like the environment, staff and the location.

Major problem trying to book accommodations on the internet. Could not get registered. Tried to phone the resort but left on hold. Was charged significant extra charges at the resort because we booked through Booking.com Not very happy with our final bill!

I think the check in time of 4 pm is too late, the sun is almost down by the time one is settled in their room. One can of course arrive early and enjoy the facilities

The resort was just great, I absolutely loved my room, enjoyed the paddle board, canoe, bike and hiking trails, the food was amazing and I will definitely return many more times.

Some of the restaurants staff- Kate was poorly trained and poor worker. I did not need to know she quite her job !

Wonderful location. Very homey vibe nostalgic without being campy. Jason the manager was absolutely brilliant. He picked up the slack where his restaurant staff failed.

The rooms need to be updated … the furniture was old and chipped the carpets outdated and the general decor needed repainted in the room .. there is shabby chic and then there is in need of a refresh !

The location and ambience of the property were lovely . The buildings were very pretty and the vibe very relaxed.

Because of heavy rains in the area the beach looked a bit sad.

I have stayed at Sherwood Inn many summers, mostly 5 nights at a time. I love the place because of its location by the lake, it’s old world charm, giant trees, peacefulness, good food and excellent service.

Beach chairs need to be upgraded for comfort and the rooms could use some updating and refreshing.

The location was absolutely excellent, and they offered kayaks and canoes which were so nice to go out and enjoy the water. The staff were welcoming, and friendly and the restaurant was also good. The cleanliness was a bit lacking (e.g. mold in the shower, dirty carpets and curtains), and outdoor furniture that was breaking. However the views from our room were beautiful! Overall, we had a good time.

Breakfast and dining were fine but it was overpriced for what it was.

Beautiful spot next to lake nice for relaxing and enjoying nature. Staff was nice and helpful. Room was nice and had a good view. Everything was clean.

Fantastic location in the Muskoka late district. the staff were brilliant, there was an issue with our room but they quickly found another for us, even providing an upgrade.

clean rooms and bathroom was hygienic excellent value for money very good recreational facilities for families location of rooms are very good offering direct view of the lake Joseph friendly and courteous staff, staff was the best as they greeted us everytime with a smile and were eager to help

the only thing we didn’t like was that we were charged for some amenities we didn’t use because our stay was so short (bikes, skis, etc.) it should be an option to pay for those, not mandatory.

I absolutely loved the location, the property layout, the interiors, the decoration and last bit not least the hospitality of the staff. The property is absolutely beautiful and the Christmas decor was on point. The reception staff are some of the nicest people you will meet and the restaurant staff are so kind and hospitable as well. Our room was comfortable and had all the facilities needed in a hotel room and I absolutely loved the view from the room. It was clean and spacious too. The breakfast buffet was delicious as well, it was 100% worth coming to stay at Sherwood Inn.
