The Hotel Alphorn was in Interlaken West close to the train station 🚉 The hotel exceeded my expectations as we were given a room with not only a balcony with mountain views but it also had a small dining area.This made our stay. The breakfast was lovely with a lot of choices to suit everyone There’s also parking on the property.

The property is easily located 5 mins walk from Interlaken West train station. There is an elevator, a table and chairs, a pedestal fan and a kettle in the room which were all utilised. The room is very clean and comfortable. It is close to a supermarket and an easy walk to the sights of Interlaken. A buffet breakfast is included in the price. We met several staff and the owner and everyone was pleasant and helpful.

Room was quite small- but had a nice balcony. However, the hotel is rated 2-star so I should not have expected large rooms.

The owner is a charming, helpful woman. She gave us good recommendations and provided all she could to ensure a nice stay Staff is beyond helpful and cheerful. Room was small, but immaculate. Nice breakfast. Good location; short walk to train and restaurants.

Could do some upgrades to the bathroom. Putting a sliding door or door that opens to the outside would give it more space and makes it easier for one to get in and out. Pillow was too soft to my liking.

The best hotel we have stayed so far in Interlaken. Excellent location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Private parking on site is a bonus.

The rooms were quite small but so well kept there really isn’t anything we didn’t like about this property. Small room - Huge hospitality!!

The hospitality is superb! Greeted with a smile and for 3 days we were treated like royalty. Information for the area and directions was so helpful and made our visit so much easier.

For me there was nothing not to like!

Everything! I loved the location of the property to Interlaken West train station and the bus stops. It was also off the main noisy touristy strip allowing for some peace and quiet. The room was a decent size, and the bed comfortable. I didn’t miss not having an AC as you’re provided with a fan and I loved having the windows open to see the mountains. I couldn’t believe how many English TV channels there were, which was nice to wind down at the end of the day. Christine was a delight to greet at the start of my stay and in the mornings at breakfast or when I returned from my adventures. As were the other staff. It was a very warm, welcoming, safe place.

Lovely hotel so convenient for Interlaken West train station, a mere 5 -10 minutes walk depending on how quickly you walk. Super friendly and helpful owner & her staff. We were made to feel very welcome. Super breakfast, plentiful choice. Comfortable room, towels changed every day, good shower. Large Migros close by within a shopping centre, Would stay here again should I ever return to Interlaken.

The owner christina was incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. The breakfast had a small but satisfying selection. The location was excellent we were very close to the main Interlaken west station and also bud stops but also a very easy walk to harder klum

While it was very quiet outside the building, the walls and hallways weren't very soundproof. We could easily hear neighbours coughing throughout the night or people coming back late speaking and moving around in the hallways. Additionally, the bathroom is very narrow and can be difficult to move around in if you have mobility challenges or have larger body compositions.

The property is very well secured after public opening hours. Once the front desk closes for the day at 7:00 pm (unless otherwise determined by incoming guests of their own wishes), only guests that have a front door key (which is directly linked to their respective room key that they must return to the wall mount in order to get the front door key in the first place) can enter the property. Additionally, the surrounding neighbourhood is residential, so it's very quiet outside during the night. It is also fairly convenient to walk from the station, with grocery options around the station easily accessible on the way if you're travelling by train. Breakfast was limited to cold options, but we weren't picky. The coffee would be freshly made to order, which we appreciated.

The hotel is great, quiet, rooms are big enough with simple and practical furniture. Everything was clean. We felt there very well thanks to helpful, nice and friendly staff. Breakfast is really great and it is served from 7am. Hotel has a great location - couple of minutes far from the railway station, shops, restaurants...
