The location was perfect, with a very cute balcony on 1 st floor. Very sympathetic personnel, breakfast included and very complete to start the morning. The room was comfortable and very clean, but a bit small. The bed was very comfortable and slept very easily 😴

A joyful journey. The room is warm and comfortable.Facilities are clean and tidy. The owner is such a kind couple, helps us out of the forest in the desperate darkness, and even provided us a decent dinner at 11PM. The location has a perfect view of the Alps. It’s always a good choice here if one want to stay a couple of nights at kandersteg.

The walls are very thin the whole night we heard people in the other room laughing and talking when it was past midnight. Also the bed on top gets very hot, sleep with the door open at night it feel amazing

Our room was very pleasant and a good size. Our balcony had a great view. The standout for us was the breakfast which we thought was excellent both in choice and quality. The beds were also exceptionally comfortable.

The beds and the pillows were quite (too) soft. A locked room yo leave luggage on check out day would be a nice addition!

Location is amazing, easy walk to gondola for Oeschinensee. Balcony with view on the Alps qas spectacular! Very nice breakfast with a lot of variety and good for dietary restrictions.

Sink/shower setup in the bathroom was odd, the same pipes served both sink and shower, leading to minor confusion when turning on the sink turned on the shower instead.

Location is slightly away from the supermarkets, but bus stop is just 2 minutes walk away. I'd still say its a very convenient location.

Breakfast was delicious, room is spacious enough for couples. Very comfortable beds, and relaxing environment. If given a chance, I'd definitely be there again! Very friendly and welcoming host.

A couple of games below the stairs were great as an option for bad weather, but a small kids playground outside for good weather would go a long way.

Unexpectedly great location with views to the mountains and waterfalls. Close to the train station, to the cable car, to restaurants and a trail along the river. All great. Parking was easy and staff welcoming (considering how much on his hands). And it was very quiet and calm for a good night sleep.

I was not sure if I could end up reaching there by 19:00 or not as that was mentioned as the last checkin time. So I wrote them about it; but never received a response. But I ended up reaching before 19:00; so no problem there. But as better customer service; I was expecting an answer. Anyway; I would have called if I was getting late. Normally other places in booking.com do respond to messages.

Everything was as expected in Switzerland.
