The double decker bed that comes with family room that we booked is not comfortable enough as there were noises when the upper level made a small movement.

The hostel is really close to West Interlaken and the city center. I recommend to take room with breakfast! The breakfast is really superb! The staffs were really nice.

Just a small thing but in the kitchen the sensors should be placed differently because when you stop moving the lights turn off immediately and then you kinda have to sit in the dark. Also there is no proper couch in the common areas, I understands it's perhaps to stop people from sleeping there but it wasn't really possible to relax in the common area due to this.

Great location, facilities are cleaned multiple times per day, great view from room and rooftop, staff speaks good English. This is the best hostel I have stayed in Europe!

I came here to go hiking, which where I come from is safer using poles. When I asked if I could rent poles, the staff (who I now think were Polish) seemed to get mad.

This was an affordable place in an unaffordable tourist destination. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable enough.

Everything. From location, facilities, cleanliness, affordability everything is just perfect. Best in Interlaken. Easy check in and check out. Well equipped fully functional kitchen was available and the best part is the dining area and the views from there. The sanitation staff were polite. A note to people planning to stay here: respect the place and keep it clean especially the kitchen area. And try to separate your wastes ✌. Highly recommend

Beds just beyond horrible. Bathroom are good but it must be mentioned that they are not attached with the rooms.

Location excellent. Close from Interlaken OST and even closer from Interlaken WEST station(Walking distance 10 mins hardly) anyone who is travelling to stay at this property should get off and Interlaken west station and simply walk to hostel. Since the hostel has a self check in process no one was available at the reception, available on request though. But I suggest that atleast one representative must be available, as not everyone is that tech savy. Beds in the mixed dorms are beyond horrible makes too much noise while climbing up and while sleeping. Our room size hauntingly bad. Extremely small for 4 people to share. View from shared terrace is fabulous. Shared kitchen and meeting new people from various parts of the world. The bathrooms are good but unfortunately not attached with the rooms which was a huge disappointment. This should be mentioned at the booking page. So about 4 bathroom to shared with N numbers of guests which in our case was manageable but it must be mentioned. Beds I can't point out enough how bad they are. But still i can stay again at the property as overall experience was good. Common areas are good too.

The table in the kitchen area could have been cleaner. The lighting in the communal area could be better too. The sounds coming from rooms above were noisy also while trying to sleep.

Location was great, close to the train station. Check in was easy and when our key cards wouldn’t work someone was there immediately to help. We appreciated that. Liked the ability to use the fridges for our food too.

No one at reception, though they do respond to the bell Showers and toilets external to room and only 2 per floor, with toilets and showers in same compartment. Bunks in the dorm room are very noisy with only small movements. Hard to sleep when people move on the bunk and it squeaks.

The sound insulation of the room is very poor. I can hear the shower , the toilet and the footstep from upstairs.

Hmmm, well the worst thing was that the bed springs were horribly noisy and kept waking everyone up. Chinese people cook everything from scratch and hog the kitchen area in shifts! Need a separate caffee and tea making area.

Location was good, clean and the roof terrace was fantastic.
