Room was a tad small.

I had a wonderful stay, the room was small but the location was unbeatable! Staff was very friendly, breakfast was great, and the price was great! The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable, more than large enough for two people for a few nights.

Like most rooms in Zurich, very small. Not much space for a big Australian. No air-conditioning, leaving the window open was a very cold experience. Apart from that, it was just the usual overpriced room in Switzerland. Well located though, just a short walk from the train station and tram terminal

The parking not very close and in a hill (37€). Breakfast was very bad (raw eggs and a strange equipment for boiling it, old cheese and hum, very small choice at all). The room was not very clean. + Somebody opened the door at 8:30am for clean the room (why?!).

The one lift was out of service for the three days we were there, although to the hotel 's credit, workers were working on it each day. Also, it isn't easy (or maybe even possible) to adjust the room temperature. We opened windows to be able to cool down the room. But, keep in mind this is an old building, which is the charm. If you want all the modern amenities, look for a new building.

The staff very professional and friendly. They carried all our luggage up several flights of stairs for us, as the lift was not working. The breakfast buffet offered many options, such as soft or hard-boiled eggs, bread, pastries, several types of meats and cheeses. You can purchase breakfast in advance, or choose to purchase it each morning. The location could not be better if you're planning to see sights in historic Zurich. The beds were comfortable and I appreciated the feather pillows. The rooms were spacious, especially in an older building. Would definitely stay here again, but book on lower floor.

Shower was very low (room 15), fine for me I’m 5ft 4 but not for my partner who is 6ft and no screen so sprayed out all over the bathroom. Wouldn’t stop me staying again though.

Weird key system when leaving the hotel, wasn’t necessarily bad just seemed a bit odd and unnecessary; why not just use keycards? Little overpriced like most of Zurich.
