It was a big room with a big bathroom. It was quite recently renovated and had a balcony with very nice views. We loved the variety of food for breakfast. The little village is cute and quiet. The person who did our check in (we think it was the owner) was very nice.

I actually like it , some chairs shows its old like u can see leather ripped off but thats not really matter alot because bed was perfect , and the room cleaning they need to care more about sink .

A bit hot in the room as they do not have air-con. Open window is not our option as we do not want any insect to get in. The room a bit dark.

Breakfast was ok not much choices but enough for the day. The location is quiet in a beautiful small village. We found out that the hotel is near the bridge that famous after the K-drama series was shoot there. We enjoyed to walk around and took a free bus to Thun.

The room on the fourth floor was nice but unfortunately only had a portable AC that didn't work too well

The staff was very friendly, especially Theresa. As well the location was a nice site to stay at for a weekend. The restaurant with a sunny terrace has a limited menu, but the food served was very tasty.

There was a smell of smoke in the hallways. The day we arrived (a Monday) the kitchenette had not been properly cleaned and there was no one to talk to other than one man at reception that was not knowledgeable enough to assist with anything substantial (I realize it was a Monday and the restaurant was closed so there was less than the usual staff on the premises; we mentioned this the next morning as well and the kitchenette was then properly cleaned). The windows have no blinds that block sunlight so we were up bright and early each morning. All in all, we had a good time, but we did not feel we were staying in a 4 star property.

We had an apartment that was actually quite large. The queen size bed was comfortable, unfortunately, the bed for our son was not very comfortable for a 14 year old. There is a fully equip kitchenette we used for making dinner. Breakfast was good and the breakfast staff very pleasant. The views from the hotel and the village of Sigriswil are lovely.

Breakfast arrangements were not at par. There was only one staff to refill breakfast items and clean used tables. She was stressed and could not manage workload. Continental breakfast was one the key criteria's for down selecting this hotel as my parents prefer this option. One of the rooms were not clean and it had dust on the roof and webs.

Other than breakfast we could not eat at the hotel because service ends at 9 pm most days and at 6 pm on Sundays. The bus services on Saturdays are severely curtailed after 5.30 pm from Thun. So we had to take a taxi back and that is about 13 euros There is good daylight in June and July and you do not realise how late it is. But food stores close and the only one open late is the Coop store at the Thun Hauptbahnhof - the main train and bus station by the lake. Pick up food and carry to the hotel if you are reaching beyond 7 pm.

Breakfast was great. A standard Swiss breakfast. The milk, cheese and bakes were really tasty The bus stops at the hotel. But when you come up for the first time from Interlaken or Thun you must know where to get off as the drivers tend to drop you off early and it is a very steep climb The views are very nice. Walk to the village. It is quaint and lovely. The marketplace has some cute shops from where we bought some local produce. You can take the bus down to Interlaken and Thun and take the ride on the lake. It is magical. But it closes at 6 pm. There is a panorama Bridge which the hotel gives discount vouchers for. You have to then pay 4Euros per person. But it is a beautiful walk and we walked beyond to a restaurant and further. Later took the bus back. From the Thun lake cruise you are allowed to hop on and off at different points. We got off at St Beatus caves and trekked up to the stalagmite and stalactite caves. You need warmish clothes there as the caves are rather cold. Need good walking shoes as well. But worth the effort and you can have a hearty meal and but memorabilia after visiting the caves.

For a 4 stars hotel there is room from improvement: 1. King size bed should not be divided. 2. Frigobar, welcome snack and foot wear should be offered in the room. 3. There was an event and the noise should be managed better. Other than that, everything was fine!

The views to the lake are just marvellous, the staff super friendly, rooms are spacious and clean, also I have to mention they went beyond and offered us an upgrade for a room with a view to the lake. Super nice!

only major problem was extra soft pillows, which we were offered some extra pillows for comfort but never the same as your own so will bring next time, but the staff were as helpful as they could be (thank you to the team), only other slight issue could be for some people was the outside road noise which was not expected for this village but this can’t be helped and we managed to cope ok. having a joining room (not asked for), people next door randomly tried to open which made wife a bit un-nerved for couple of last days stay, will be back in same area but may try another hotel for comparison., but great work from the staff keep up the great work!.

location and views were great, staff were as helpful as could be and anything asked for was supplied were available, no AC but asked if had a fan and was not disappointed as provided a large fan for room which helped.
