Amazing! Honestly our favourite stay so far, the room was beautiful and the view was even better. I absolutely recommend booking a lake view on the 1st floor if you can! The staff were lovely, the facilities were great, it was a good location, we walked to a lot of the castles and the buses were super easy to navigate. The staff even gave us a bus pass for our time there to get around for free!

Unfortunately we had quite a loud family in one of the rooms close by, bad luck.

Our suite on the 4th floor had a great view over the lake and to the mountains in the distance. The suite consisted of a big room with a smaller one with a sofa and a nice and spacious bathroom. We liked the historic vibe of the place, the staff were very friendly, both at the reception and at the restaurant. The food we had for dinner was delicious.

Nothing, it was a perfect stay!

We arrived in Thun by train and took the boat here - the boat trip was quick and lovely and the boat stop for the town of Hilterfingen is just a few minutes walk along the water to the hotel. The staff at the reception desk were immediately warm and welcoming. We loved our room - we had a balcony off the bedroom and one from the living area and we spent lots of time outside enjoying the view. The hotel was quiet and we slept great here. In addition to the on-site restaurant, there were other great restaurants nearby including a Thai restaurant just down the street. We did not have a car and we got around easily by walking and by taking the boat. There were also frequent buses with a stop nearby. We loved exploring Hilterfingen and nearby towns and hope to return to the Hotel Bellevue au Lac in the future!

We stayed in the small hotel next to the main one. There was only one plug in the room, which was not sufficient for all the devices.

Excellent location and excellent restaurant. Very good breakfast as well. Free parking in front of the hotel. Very friendly staff.

Breakfast was not included. The listing shows the photos of Hotel Bellevue Lac but after booking and payment, I got a mail that we will be put up in another adjoining hotel (Stella de Lago) which has no elevator and no housekeeping or room service.

The location is beautiful. Peaceful and quiet.

This is not a complaint, as we knew when we booked that there was no air con - it was hot in the room overnight, even with the fan. This was a minor thing as we loved everything about our stay here.

The staff were exceptional - very pleasant and helpful. The location was stunning, having a lake view was wonderful. We ate in the restaurant and really enjoyed our meal looking out over the lake. Breakfast was also excellent. It was lovely to be able to stroll along the waterfront. Secure parking across the road was great for the motorbike.

The cleanliness needs improvement; we found dead insects and spiders everywhere in our room. The “Dependence” room’s balcony is shared with the adjacent room, but it’s not the kind of sharing you’d expect - it’s a small balcony with one chair on each side, separated by a chain. The mini-fridge doesn’t work, so make sure to check it beforehand if you need it. The ventilation in the bathroom doesn't work

I stayed for three nights in the “Double Room Lake View - Dependance.” It’s important to note that this building is separate from the main one, so you’ll have to walk to the restaurant for breakfast daily (was not a problem for me, but I think it is worth mentioning). Additionally, there’s no daily cleaning service in the Dependance building. The good: The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The location is great, with access to the lake.

The room's carpet and curtains and trimmings felt and looked quite old and worn. The bathroom could benefit from more soaps and skin products, as we are accustomed to from three-star hotels. But these few things are really minor, and did not detract from our enjoyment at all.

A nice big room with some view of the lake of Thun, even though the room was designated as a city view. Plus we liked that the window when closed were completely noise free, we could not hear a single car from the street below. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and our included breakfast was very good, approaching the level of a 4-star hotel. Dinner on the patio was wonderful, the cuisine is traditional Swiss with a wonderful presentation. A big bonus for 1st of August travelers, the lake's big fireworks display happens right in front of you, and is spectacular!
