Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

The room had a fantastic view of the Matterhorn, and over the village. We loved having a balcony to sit out. Rooms were very clean, and had everything we could need for our stay. The location was only a 10 minute walk from the train station, yet the area around was quiet and peaceful.

We love our stay at Haus Belmont studio 12. The studio is super cozy, the host is very kind to provide all the necessity for cooking including cooking oil, salt and pepper. We love the view very much, we can see Matterhorn everyday from the studio and we were so lucky to see the sunrise and golden Matterhorn. Although we had to walk up the slope to the studio every day, it worth to do that. We had an unforgettable trip in Zermatt partly due to this lovely studio. Thank you Chris for everything. We highly recommend the studio 12 for the stay in Zermatt.

Location is pricesless, with spacious balcony and wide windows. All you need is present, also for your own cooking skills. Clean, fresh and safe surroundings. Host can be reached in case easily in case of questions and takes responsibility

United StatesThe necessary downside of the great view is that the apartment is up a fairly steep hill which might be a drawback if you have a lot of luggage and don't want to pay for the expensive cabs. No other negatives.
The view of the Matterhorn from the room and balcony was magnificent. The apartment was very comfortable. All necessities for cooking were provided.
