Furniture seemed a bit dated. No cleaning service for three nights we spent there.

Tiny pillows were a bit of a let down. Tiny elevator that barely fits three adults. For a longer stay in a kitchen there is little space to put food away. Would be great to have, at least, salt, paper, oil in the kitchen.

Breakfast was not part of my stay. There are a few places nearby, albeit with mostly sweets and coffees, not a proper breakfast. I liked the place for being near both my office and the lake.

The location was excellent. Close to trams and stations and the lake. The place was very clean and well kept. It met all our needs. Staff was friendly and polite over the phone. Housekeeping was pleasant and friendly but met them once only. However, overall it was an excellent stay and we really enjoyed the apartment and the facilities provided.

There was construction literally around the building and our apartment which was on the ground floor . Evermornin the ground moving machines started working 1 meter to our windows. One side of the room was the parking space for the these vehicles. When thse machines started working we could not hear each other in the apartment . I suggest halting rental of that room until the works are finished /or acknowledging customers at the booking stage

Sound isolation is not the best, but not a great concern either. The matrace was a bit hard, it could be an issue for some.

The apartment is very well equiped, spacious and clean. The provided umbrella was a nice touch and very useful. The kitchen is very well equiped, and amenities are provided in the bathroom.

We were travelling with young children and had a stroller. There are elevators in the building but they only fit 2 people and you just climb a few stairs to get to the elevators so they can’t be used for strollers. There is no space on the ground floor to store the strollers either. The trams pass by every 6 minutes until 10pm so you can feel the vibrations in the building from the tram lines.

The property is in a nice location close to the lake and right beside a tram stop. It’s only 10 minutes into Zurich city centre. The apartment has everything you could need for self catering. The apartment and building were spotless. Very comfortable stay.

The WiFi was very hit and miss. Could not get on it a lot of the time. Possible building overload! Pillows were inadequate - but that's a personal preference. We would return.

It would have been great if the TV was Netflix compatible (it operates on Silverlight browser which Netflix doesn't support) or if I could manage Chrome Cast. Amazon Prime Video couldn't play either.

Location is great, just 15 minutes walk to Opera House, plus a tram station is almost right in front of it. Speaking of location, don't miss the botanical gardens of University of Zurich, just 5 mins walk. It is a hidden gem, I've added a picture of the place. While planning our stay, I realized most hotels are really small and I was looking for a place that was at least comfortably large. This place exceeded our expectations in terms size and abundance of drawers and closets. The blinds make it totally dark, which is how we like to sleep. The neighborhood is quiet, flat is clean and the bathroom was big and had all the space my wife needed for the load of personal care items we have with us. The staff was very helpful.

Location was fabulous, very central, few minutes of walk to city center, can go by foot to almost every major landmark. Apartment was huge, with modern interior, big and comfortable bed, equipped with everything you need, and special treat is enormous balcony with nice view on neighbourhood. Cannot imagine what could made this stay even better.

Everything. I had been working in Zurich since late November 2023, whilst staying in the best Airbnb apartment I had ever experienced. It was unfortunate that the Airbnb booking could not run to end of my contract, so I was left with two days to stay elsewhere, so I chose City Stay. I know Zurich well, so I booked based on location, and proximity to my place of work. City Stay Kieselgasse was better than I could have hoped for. I highly recommend staying here.

I can't think of anything that we didn't like about the hotel or location.

The location of the hotel is excellent with a tram stop a few steps away from the building. The room was excellent in all respects - quality of furnishings, clean, comfortable, light and very quiet. The neighborhood has many restaurants and small shops. We will stay there again and wish we had discovered this hotel previously.
