The location is very central and we walked everywhere easily. The room size was good. The staff were helpful. Before our late check in, we have received the self check in guide which was very helpful and smooth. Thanks a lot for that.

Room was ok, but had seen better days. My private bathroom was across hallway, and when I arrived, somebody was using the toilet which was not ideal. Walls are very thin - i could hear everything the group in the neighbouring room were saying, and was woken by their 5am alarm

The room was very badly insulated, noises from the hallway and adjacent rooms were clearly audible. The hotel is non-smoking but when other guests were smoking on their balcony the smell easily permeated into other rooms.

The hotel is very well situated, close to public transport, stores, the promenades and the old city. The room itself was small but clean and had all essential facilities (although the fridge was tiny). The desk manager was very polite and helpful.

About 10 minute walk to the lake. Close to old town. Bus & tram stops were a short walking distance. Arrived in Geneva in the morning and was able to leave my luggage with the hotel until check-in time.

The bathrooms in the rooms are very small. almost gives the vibe of an airplane bathroom.

This hotel has a lot of character. Their rooms are spacious and comfortable. The beds are comfortable. It is a very short walk to the major attractions in the city, makes is a perfect location and value for money as compared to the other hotels around in that area. Keep in mind that their elevator actually starts from the 1st floor so you need to carry your luggage a couple of stairs before you reach the elevator but this was clearly indicated in the hotel description while booking so it wasn't a surprise for us.

There's not much you can do about neighbours and passers-by: cheeky dogs barked one of the nights we of our stay and I heard them! Husband slept right through though. ;)

Loved: The oriel with view over the Rhone. That was the reason I picked the hotel and chose that room. :o Wow! The ergonomic memory-foam pillows! As good as home :) The feel it’s not brand-sparkling new build and decoration that’s cost the planet a bomb. :) The shutters which gave us complete darkness for a good night’s sleep. :D The high high ceilings and the read in the bay-window in the setting sun!

It is dated and the fixtures and fittings are not the most modern, but they are perfectly acceptable.

There were a couple of aspects which we didn't like which will not prevent us choosing it again to be honest, but they should be taken into consideration. The building is pretty old and the walls are very thin, we could easily heard noise from other rooms, especially from the hallway - there are 6 rooms which have the doors in a very small hallway. Another aspect we didn't like is the light in the room and in the bathroom as well, very very weak. We couldn't shave/makeup in the bathroom. During the day there is no problem, there room is full of light from outside, but over the night it may be difficult. Lastly, I haven't noticed any recycling, I consider mandatory to do this. There was a single bin in the room, nothing selective. I let the plastic/glass bottles separate. Hopefully they do recycle.

The hotel is situated very well, at walking distance from city center and the main train station. The view from our room was amazing, straight over the river. We also had a little balcony; I think not all the rooms have one though. The room was cozy in an old building having a nice architecture. Very clean and comfortable.

The shower head was a bit high, it must have been installed by very tall person! but I still could reach it. The wooden floor creaked a bit and I wondered if it bothered visitors on floor below. The person at reception when I arrived was helpful but not particularly amicable.

Very clear messaging exchange with staff to know how to enter and take room. Very clean. Nice small fridge in room. View on Rhone river.
