How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

There is a sauna however you have to pay extra and make reservation. Spa is only open at 16h00 till 20h00.
The hotel was so nice. there is underground garage and safe. Breakfast was very good..lot of food choice.

Plain room without ameneities. Shared kettle and micorwave only available at lobby.
We enjoyed the breakfast and the hotel proximity to station for the day trip to Zermatt. Hotel has no aircon and hence think is challenging if staying over summer.

No kettle within the room. Parking is underground and need careful driving.

Parking lot very dark, specially at night. There is no possibility to get to hotel directly from the parking lot after "closing" ours, so we had to go from the outside to get some things from the car. It's something to improve.
Very good breakfast, and close to the train station to get to Zermatt. They also have a shuttle to take you directly there, which is cheaper than the train. Some updates and modernizations are being done. But not yet to all rooms, as ours was a little out of date. But still comfortable. Parking lot available in the building.

Excellent place but little expensive for one night but not sure the rates for more days.

Close to the tracks, so some noise from the trains which run every 20 minutes, except between 1 am and 6 am.

While the common areas are nicely renovated, the rooms could be a little more welcoming.
The free parking underground is a great added bonus since one cannot go to Zermatt by car anyway! The room was big and spacious, with very comfortable linen. The breakfast had a nice selection.

The parking was narrow, but the receptionist said it in advance. It would be nice to have more choices for breakfast.
We could choose the room on the back side of the hotel. The room was quite spacious and very clean. The location is perfect, 3 minutes walking to the train station from which you can reach Zermatt. Breakfast was good, not a big choice but there were both savoury and sweet things. There is a parking for cars.

The location was great. We got off the train and turned right. It's about a 5 minute walk from the train station. The hotel was very nice and the beds were very comfortable. The view was of the mountains. The breakfast was a typical European breakfast (sausage, eggs, rolls/ croissants, yogurt, lunch cheese, cereal, and a few other things). It was very easy to take the train from Zurich to Tasch. The train ends in Tasch. The next morning, we got up and took the train to Zermatt. It takes approximately 15 minutes. It was very easy to get around.

Bedroom was warm and we didn’t have controller to turn off heat. Opened window but like it should be there was outside noise throughout the night.
They offered a shuttle service to Zermatt a pedestrian only town and very accommodating about picking you up etc. it was nice breakfast was included. Had enough space for clothes and personal items along with room Was spacious

The aspect that I didn’t like is that in the room there is no minibar nor cutelery.
I appreciated the fact that it was close to the train station and that they have a good selection of food for breakfast.

The location is right next to the train station, the walls and/or windows could be thicker to prevent the train noises coming in all night long

Given the location and the distance to get in and out of the area, access to early breakfast (that is included in the price and can't be removed) would be great.
Good location. Cheaper than Zermatt for the days we stayed. Easy to get to Zermatt on the train. We couldn't use our second breakfast day as the facility wasn't open early.
