Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SwitzerlandThe breakfast was a bit rushed since we had to leave the room by 9:45 am on a Sunday morning (another event happening in the same room). It did start at 7 am, but this was not our time for a Sunday morning.... we managed ;-)
The room was very spacey, even for three adults. It had a spectacular view on the castle and downtown. We got two parking tokens in a nearby parking garage (saved us 4 of 20 CHF). The breakfast was nice. The location is great. You are 5 min away from downtown. Check out the Planetarium Sirius above Sigriswil and the Thun Panorama (largest panorama in the world, depicting Thun and its surrounding from the early 19th century).

United StatesNo elevator,which is not unusual for Europe but 3 flights up and down with luggage is not fun. Water pressure in the shower was great but hot and cold fluctuations while showering was not. All in all I would stay again at this older hotel.

The very traditional house sits between a row of modern buildings. Not what you expect. But once you‘re inside you feel the charm of it. The rooms have been nicely refurbished while keeping the traditional touch.

Our room was large with a good sized comfortable bed. The reception closed at 6pm but the entry instructions were good and easy to follow.

United StatesCould have had a lift or assistance with luggage for the 40 stairs we had to ascend and descend to our room. Breakfast was okay -lacked fresh fruit and variety. Shower was very dangerous (slip and fall hazard - no grab bars or non-slip mat- we went out and bought one for our stay). No shelves for personal toiletries in bathroom.
Staff friendly and helpful,food was okay, location very central. Younger, more fit guests would probably fare better!
