Some more typical swiss specialties at the restaurant would be appreciated. Le Tapis Rouge is a fancy restaurant, and I get the cuisine. The Les Cascades, I would have loved some more down to earth, regular dishes that represent Switzerland. Nontheless, very delightful dishes.

Such a majestic building surounded by stunning nature. A magical place! Worth every penny! I'm still in awe.

The location and hotel was dreamy. Like stepping into “La Belle Epoch” The piano layer at the bar added to the timeless ambience. Then the buffet breakfast catered for all tastes with exceptional freshness and variety of produce. Dining at the restaurant was welcoming and warm, offering great local cuisine. The second room we had did not have a view of the waterfall, which is what your website said. We were extremely disappointed in that second room.

The view was fantastic from the room with the balcony. We have a view of the lake and the waterfall. Breakfast was also very good! The ease of getting there via ferry and venicular was a super fun experience!

This is an exceptional property located right next to the famous Giessbach Falls, a stunning waterfall. Our room had a view of the falls, with a sitting area and French doors with a balcony. The building is historic and beautifully decorated in all of the common areas, with a large outdoor patio area for dining also. It's a very short walk to overlook the falls close up on a bridge, and they have a funicular that goes down to the lake (Brienzersee) where the steamboat stops on their tour of the lake.

Taxi availability to Interlaken Rail station after hours is not adequate. I suggest the Hotel should have its own car drop off service 24/7.

The hotel was one of the best in terms of historic building, location, views, sophisticated behaviour of the hotel staff, excellent breakfast and dinner restaurant. All in all I with my family had an unforgettable experience and one of these days want to come back and visit again. I strongly recommend anyone visiting Interlaken area to stop by at least for a day and if possible longer.

The location is amazing right next to Giessback falls. You can easily hike to the top from the hotel. The hotel is just beautiful. Its historical design and lovely staff.

The location is amazing with the waterfalls and the lake, and the hotel is proper old school grand - very much lives up to its name ! Staff were all helpful and friendly and our waiter for dinner really helped to make it a great experience. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were soft but supportive. Slept really well. We had a room with a waterfall view which was stunning and the noise helped us to sleep really well ! The view from the balcony was just lovely. Breakfast was great - plenty of choice and all delicious.
