The hotel stuff is very helpful. feels like a family run place with excellent rooms and good breakfast. located very close to the center of Altdorf.

We were welcomed by the most friendly staff. Great restaurant (with woodoven pizza, but also very good valued (kids) menu). Easy to reach on the way, parking (with EV chargers) just in front, close to cosy city centre).

There is no air-conditioning in room which might be an issue on hot nights.

We had a good experience at Hofli. Free parking and free charging of our electric car. The rooms are clean, quiet and spacious, with comfortable beds. The hotel restaurant is very good and they have a nice sunny outside terrace with friendly staff.

Staff was superfriendly, location is perfect, walking distance from city center and close to drive to many beautiful mountain walks. We really liked that there are rooms that can sleep 5.

Switzerland is not cheap but it does deliver quality.

The room was excellent in the adjacent building. Very large, modern, clean and very comfortable. Handy location just on the edge of the town centre so for access to the sights and other eating options. Hotel restaurant was very good too.

Surroundings to the sides and rear rather industrial. From the photo supplied to the booking site we expected a more "olde-world" environment. (Just a small complaint - the people in this generally excellent hotel worked hard to make our stay enjoyable)

Great reception - friendly and efficient staff in all areas.Evening meal and breakfast good value. we stayed in a newish annexe at the side of the old hotel - rooms modern, large and well-appointed. Comfortable sheltered outside area despite very wet weather.

We stayed here last year as well. It is a lovely hotel, with great staff and delicious food. What more could you want? Parking on site and a short distance from Gotthard Tunnel

We stayed overnight while driving through Switzerland. We were very pleasantly surprised and the hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was very large and spotlessly clean, with a seating area and a large very comfortable bed. The breakfast in the morning was very nice, with lots of local products.

Just in front of our window was the place where the restaurant staff used to get a break smoking and chatting. This was disturbing late in the evening. When we gave feedback at the reception, the receptionist was very impolite.

Modern rooms are very functional… but not very charming. These rooms also don’t have a view. But for 1-2 nights, they are excellent!

The sofa bed had already been pulled out and made for the night as we arrived, as the hotel knew we were traveling with two teenagers. After a big day of travel & adventure, this was a very welcome sight! The rooms in the new annex are very clean and modern, and quite spacious! Great breakfast, too!

Location for us was perfect (passing through) but there's not a whole lot you can do in the area so we stayed for dinner in the hotel which was great.

It was a little hot but the staff was accommodating and brought us a fan.

Great location, with plenty of restaurants and cafes to walk to. Grocery market and park for kids across the street. Nice sized room for a family. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The included breakfast was very good. The attached restaurant was excellent!
