If I had to nitpick, it would be that the walls are a tad thin, allowing some noise from neighboring rooms to seep through. However, this minor inconvenience paled in comparison to the overall fantastic experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Hostellerie du XVI Siècle to anyone seeking a cozy and convenient stay in Nyon.

My recent stay at Hostellerie du XVI Siècle was delightful. From the moment we walked in, the staff's warmth and helpfulness made us feel right at home. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and boasted the kind of comfort that made winding down after a day of work an absolute pleasure. Plus, the hostel's prime location meant that everything we needed was just a stone's throw away.

Breakfast was very good. I even got gluten free bread. The room and hotel in general very clean. There was also a restaurant. Short distance from the train station. Close to the castle and lake. Easy to find.

It was really nice & authentic. The room was small but cute! Breakfast was DELICIOUS. The staff was super nice and the room was very clean I loved the vibe in the morning with all the regular customers who come for coffee & a chat :)

The location in the middle of Nyon is just perfect. The room it depends if you are lucky but the 101 (mine in this trip) was just awesome.

The room is a little small and there was a smell of smoke .. for most nights of my stay there were others only in rooms at least one room away from mine, however the last night someone was directly next door that was unwell and I heard every cough and spit 😀throughout the night, however by then I was also getting a cold so I was also coughing, not spitting though …..

The staff were lovely, easy to speak with given I speak very little French …I had one meal at the Restaurant and it was very tasty. The Hotel is very close to the Railway station and within easy walking of the ferry dock and other attractions to see. There is a lift that fits one plus luggage easily …. The toilet and shower are very clean … a little mould on shower ceiling however it’s an unventilated space so not unusual to find this …

I like to have a small frig and a hot water pot in my room. This hotel doesn’t provide those but that won’t keep me from staying here next time I’m in Lyon.

Lovely historic restaurant with basic rooms in the beautiful mediaeval town of Nyon. My room was small, with a single bed, and ensuite toilet/basin, but a shared shower down the corridor. The breakfast was fine, and dinner in the restaurant was excellent - and excellent value for money too.

Might get hot in summer. Share shower- tiny dressing area a bit less than 1m x1m- large person would need to step into wet shower to open door inwards.

I luckily had basin and toilet in my twin room, not all rooms do. Spiral stone staircase. Singles look very small - just room for the bed- but you wont spend any time in your room. Good breakfast in outdoor restaurant with salami cheese croissants etc. Can leave luggage at restaurant after checkout., Has a lift. Great location near castle for view and walk down to Yvoire ferry
