The owner of the place is a nice, kind woman. The room was very clean and there was also a balcony with an amazing view. The breakfast was varied and delicious. Don't miss this hotel!

Unfortunately, the food is bland and overpriced. It is also the only food available in the area that is within walking distance. We felt that we were charged for more than what we received but could not contest it as it was all written by hand illegibly. Most of the food was made from the same free bread that you get for free in the morning. The pasta dishes lacked taste and were very expensive considering. Again, breakfast was incredible, but the dinner was majorly lacking.

The location was incredible, right across from the river. Staff was kind. They had a deer farm behind the hotel as well which was a surprise to us. Overall we had a great time!

What is important to us in the hotel is a clean and comfortable room, a good bed and a good breakfast. Our main interest in Verzasca Valley was hiking and we didn’t spend much time in the hotel during the day. Osteria Vittoria provided everything we needed. The room was nice and clean with a great view to the village. The wifi in the room worked well. Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. They even got us a Ticino ticket that can be used to travel free by bus in the valley. It was a great advantage on hiking trips. The hotel also has a restaurant that is open all day. That allowed us to have dinner on restaurant's beautiful terrace after spending the day walking in the valley. We were very happy that we chose Osteria Vittoria.

Nothing really, but I always keep on wondering how sad are those people who comment and didn’t like because the place didn’t had a tv. What drives a person that finds herself in one of the most beautiful places on the planet to get into the room and start the TV?

This is one of not too many places you can get a room in Lavertezzo. Actually Lavertezzo is a very small and quiet place, only to get interrupted by the hundreds of visitors during the hot days of the summer when people flock to get a swim on the nearby picturesque Verzasca river. The place is an Osteria, so not a hotel, but a restaurant (actually a very good one, nothing too fancy but really good ingredients and a good healthy sense for taste) that’s offering also a place to stay for the night. Let’s say an inn. And this is what you get. A very good meal and a nice clean bed. Also the staff really professional and serious about their work.

Can't think of anything negative!

This place is a gem! The owner went out of her way to welcome us and made our stay exceptional. The location is beautiful with lots of walks and hikes to enjoy the surroundings. We loved the breakfast each morning and ate our evening meals in the restaurant. The food was delicious and the staff was always pleasant and efficient. Our room had a wonderful view and balcony. The room was very clean with comfortable bed and linens. We would love to go back and stay there again.

Tha location of the place is just amazing! We had a beautiful view from our balcony on the river and the church of Lavertezzo. The owners of the hotel were extremely nice, helpful and friendly! And the food in the restaurant was also very good. We liked everything and we would definitely recommend this place for staying while discovering Verzasca valley and surroundings.

It was a lovely stay while we were in the Verzasca valley on holidays. The osteria is located very conveniently 100m from the famous bridge. There is a beautiful waterfall just next to the osteria. The staff is very friendly and hospitable and was flexible to meet all our food dietary requirements. There is a very nice terace of the restaurant with a gorgeous view to Lavertezzo’s cathedral.
