Expensive restaurant often booked out even for hotel guests

All was fine.

The Hotel is located in a nice area. From couple rooms you have a perfect vie down to Lugano and the some part of the lake. The people working there are top friendly and speak three Swiss-Languages and English. Both restaurants they have inkluding breakfeast was allwsys good. And from the Bar they have, you can enjiy the best view down to Lugano. Little Swimmingpool and a Sauna for max. maybe 10 people (one hamman room and one Finish-Sauna) is great to use during the time, no-one else us there. The hotel floor and rooms are covered with a carpet-floor, the rest is made with wood-substitute or another easy to clean floor material.

The Spa was poor, unfriendly, cold and the wet soil was almost dangerous At breakfast, the staff was not focused on its guests (wait for having coffee) but on its other works

No clear rules in the wellness area (nude zone, no skin on the wood (yuck), no underwear (yuck) in the sauna). Guests needs to be educated …

The staff at the entrance wasn’t nice. We have been there twice an both times they wasn’t so nice.

The restaurant, the bar and the surrounding is amazing. Also the rooms are comfortable. It is child friendly and couple friendly.

The hotel equipment is not well maintained. You can see it in the sauna, the pool area that some things have been changed or maintained for a long time. It's about small details, in general it works, but the hotel could take more care of details. We found the room comfortable, but e.g.a simple carpet would make it cozy. This way with tile floor ir is not. And as almost everywhere, hooks are missing in the bathroom.

The food was delicious and the view from the room to Lugano is great. Charging our Tesla was convenient and free of charge.

location was far from down town comp and the road was pretty steep since it is located on a mountain, a lot of insects coming in from the balcony, the bedroom was smelly,

view from the balcony , size of the room was big, I really loved the bidet sprayer, staff are friendly, parking is free, swimming pool seems fine but did not try it myself .loved the coffee machine, they gave us complimentary water and almond biscotti which was delicious, bed was comfey

Nice family hotel with really spacious rooms which is not easy to find in Switzerland. Very convenient for families. We had family suite and double room. Both are perfect! Nice views, green park, tasty breakfast. Hotel worth every chf.

The bedroom is a bit cluttered and tired. The curtains were too long in the bedroom so maybe shorten them to tidy the room up.

The hotel location is great. Situated higher up and over looking the lake. Easy walk down to the water front and back up again. Funicular is a short walk from the hotel and worth a ride. The best thing ever is being able to open the patio and bedroom doors for a most welcome breeze, especially at night time when hot and worn out from travelling…..the cool breeze lulls you to sleep. The Breakfast was very nice with good coffee. The Cigar Cafe Room was full of character and a delight to have a relaxed evening meal with tasty nibbles served before our meal….which was a Club Sandwich which was just tooooo much for one person to eat. Maybe they could offer a small & a large size to choose from….but delicious,! The Terrace dinning food was delicious and sitting outside overlooking the water made our stay special. ALL the staff were very welcoming, helpful and chatty…..even the stunning Abyssinian cat was welcoming.
