There was some noise outside in late afternoon but slowly subsided into the night

I liked the closeness to city centre (I actually couldn't decide if it was more convenient to reach it by bus or foot LOL), the unexpected spaciousness of the room, where all items are placed/picked in a perspective of optimization. It was also minimally stylish. The breakfast was essential but covered all tastes. The staff was very kind, I don't know if its standard in Swiss lifestyle, but I was airing the idea of a coffee at night and the receptionist freely offered me the breakfast appliances and stuff for one. The neighborhood is cozy, ordinate and coloured, with a near absence of cars (as mostly anywhere in Bern, I suppose)

+ Fantastic and calm location ( very close to the bus stop and the bern central railway station. It takes just 3 minutes to reach the bern central station from that bus stop. Buses to that stop are very frequentand we need not wait for more than 10 minutes) + Great and healthy breakfast with buffet system. The breakfast buffet included boiled eggs, crossaints, bread varieties, cheese varieties, butter varieties, bread toasters, oats, musli, warm milk, honey, etc . + The tea/coffee machine is available for 24 hours and is free for use. This is really great. The machine also gives warm milk for free. + The hotel is cleaned regularly and all the common areas, shared bathroom and shared toilets were clean and well maintained in a hygienic manner. + The hotel had a lift facilitiy and it was easy to carry luggage to the room in top floors. + the people in reception were friendly and helpful.

Would rather a double bed than twin but possibly those rooms were sold.

Great breakfast, central location (15 - 20 walk to the bears 🐻). Property was clean, the bed was comfortable, the free tea and coffee was great as was the breakfast. The staff were very friendly.

Hotel was in a very quiet, but not necessarily pretty surroundings.

Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. Also really appreciative of the 24 hour coffee, and tea service. Clean and generous selections.

I didn’t notice when booked this room that it hasn’t shower/bath/toilet. Only sharing with next rooms. A bit surprise, but I used to live such way) be attentive. You can pay extra 40 franks per night for room with toilet. But I didn’t do it, cause next rooms were empty. Restrooms are extremely clean. The breakfasts are pretty poor - like everywhere in Bern) The city is perfect; a lot of interesting places. Little trouble with stores - mostly of them are closing after 6 pm (and closed on Sundays). Public transport is very fast and comfortable, the tickets price are included into hotel price.

I am always happy to stay at the Marthahaus Hotel, but this time, I was even more excited by such a welcome surprise. As I mentioned before, the staff at the Marthahaus Hotel is friendly and has an amazing attitude. The WIFI signal was strong, and the coffee machine made excellent coffee. Daily, I enjoyed the Hotel breakfast and the free Bern Mobile tickets.

The shower was very very small and the room wasn’t spectacular as far as amenities.. a little out dated but clean and it did the job. Would recommend!

Staff was friendly and the location was good, right around the corner from a bus station. They were accommodating, the breakfast in the morning was lovely and always coffee and tea available 24/7. The rooms were small but clean.

Great location in the middle of Triesenberg. Good bedroom, great breakfast, and superb choices for dinner in a dining room with a great view across the Rhine valley. A value for money hotel with very helpful and courteous staff. Bus stops right outside the hotel every 30 minutes, to take you further up the mountain or down to Vaduz.

I liked the hotel staff, the location, the Bern tickets, and the Wi-Fi signal. The coffee machine and breakfast were excellent. I'm always happy to visit the Marthahaus hotel.

I liked how clean the hotel was . I have appreciated a lot the breakfast. Everything i have eaten was fresh and tasty. I liked the paintings on the wall. Intriguing. I will not forget that shade of blue.
