just outside Thun, so you will need to walk or take the bus to the city, but scenery is excellent along the way (you will not be disappointed!), a bit pricey (but it is Switzerland and there are more expensive places as well)

the view from my room was just epic, very spacious, comfortable bed and clean room, free private parking in front of the hotel or parking garage, breakfast was very good, very nice and friendly staff, very relaxing stay overall

Unfortunately there was a mixup in the rooms. They put us in one of the more expensive rooms with a gorgeous lake view the first night then moved us to the one we actually reserved with no view the second night. Still a nice room, but the one with a view was much better.

Location is excellent, even from the additional building on opposite side of the road, the lake and mounteain view is breath-taking good. In the direct environment of the hotel are supermarkets, a few restaurants and a lovely recrreational beach. We also appreciated the free water bottles at the room

Arrogant staff, Poor breakfast. The stay was ruined by the staff. We checked in the hotel, the floors well smelling very bad and our room smelled bad. My wife asked to be upgraded to another view maybe a better air because of my daughter suffering from ASMA. i complained heavily however there was a gentlemen (without a name tag) not speaking english, angrily took a key walked in our room without knocking and came down and said no smell. i requested to move to another room but angrily he kept on saying this area was painted recently and you have to stay with it. I told him i will complain and he asked me to do so as he does not care. My wife asked him that we will make bad review and he mentioned we can do whatever we like he does not care. This hotel is only a money making profit. We had to sleep the full night with Windows open. The breakfast was bad and amongst the worst in my stay in Switzerland. Only some few bread Croissants finished and some cold cuts and jam. Milk finished and cereals too. There was a small accident where someone dropped a glass on the floor, however we stayed some 30 minutes there and the glass was still broken on the floor. i could clearly notice that a guest was asking for a broom and he will do himself

We stayed at this hotel in late November, it seemed as though we were the only ones there. The area was so peaceful, the hotel was very clean, the breakfast was light and delicious, but most of all the views. Could not have picked a better stay while in Thun.

It was a 15-minute, uphill walk from the bus station to the hotel but well worth it for the quiet location. They also have good parking facilities for those traveling by car.

A very comfortable hotel with great views of Lake Thun and the adjacent mountains. We paid extra for 2 rooms with a view - well worth it; a lovely balcony allowed access to cool breezes and views of the sunset. The breakfast was very good. We chose this hotel because of its quiet location and proximity to public transportation; the bus and lake boat station are only a 15-minute walk from the hotel.

The carpets were a bit dated and needs updating. No locks on the bathroom doors.

The view over Lake Thun was beautiful, the staff were always helpful, rooms and bathroom were clean. Transport links were good with a bus and boat service nearby.
