The washrooms were dark and dingy. They badly need renovation. The shower had no partition and the water didn't run quickly down the drain , flooding the cubicle and spilling it to the dry area.

The room was decent size for a family of 4 and the location was excellent. Close to the railway station and Lauterbrunnen valley. The view from the room was beautiful

I did not staff available about this hotel. Staff is only available from 4 PM to 8PM so very careful while check in check all the things in your room is working properly because after 8 your are at your own. No is there to help you.

The pillows were not comfortable, and the room sometimes smelled like cigarette smoke. We noticed the smell coming through the bathroom vent.

The location was incredible, and we loved our balcony with the view of the valley.

The hotel is under remodel so our room needed some work.

The location was amazing, next to the largest waterfall. Our room had a window facing the front which was fabulous. We arrived to a Swiss band playing and the hiking was incredible. The restaurant was fantastic plus the staff there were super friendly.

The toilet seat was broken. Very hot in room, opened window but noisy on street. Blankets were way too heavy, just needed a sheet. They approved early check in but no one at desk until 4, so we left our bags in bar area. Good location for train etc. needs some tic. Restaurant was good for food and drinks.

Bathroom needs some TLC and upgrades, including lighting, new shower curtain and shower/bath faucet. Not a fancy place but great location.

We were able to get Room 32 which has a balcony and a fabulous view. Housekeeping was very good. Restaurant was very good with great staff.

The accommodations were simple- which we expected- but the bed was pretty uncomfortable and the bathroom and shower were tiny

The town itself was stunning and we could not be happier with the location of the hotel. It was also nice that there was an on-site restaurant.

Seemed like the hotel and the building in which it was located were separate enterprises?? Pricey, but then again it is Switzerland.

Location. Lauterbrunnen up there as the most beautiful place in the world. Spectacular. Hotel room was very good but not the "good" view. A bit of confusion about how many nights we booked for but all got sorted. Cafe downstairs was good.

The key to room should be replaced.. quite troublesome to lock and unlock the door. It would be greatly appreciated if they could provide glasses, the disposable ones are good enough.

The location was excellent. Bed was comfy enough after a long day spent walking and visiting beautiful places within the valley.

I disagree with some negative reviews I read before visiting.No smell at the bathroom, lighting was adequate.

Excellent family room, breathtaking view. Very helpful elevator. Easy parking access. although the hotel and restaurant were fully booked, everything was running smoothly.

Booked a double bed but we got 2 single beds - was uncomfortable. There was never anyone at the reception, so we couldn't even complain and ask for a new room. At the Restaurant downstairs (which I guess is separate from the hotel?), they refused to serve us tap water with the meal unless we ordered a drink...never seen that before in Switzerland.

Only one issue is that nobody stays at reception till 04pm .. The owner comes at 04pm only and that is the time when you can register your issues to him.. Like on a day, WiFi was not working since morning and we tried all the ways but could only speak to owner at 04pm..

Lack of any infrastructure such as bar, restaurant, staff. No coffee machine in the rooms. Staff non answering calls neither in afternoon, evening or morning with not even an answering machine
