Stairs were challenging for seniors to our room.

Breakfast area very clean. Good variety, staff very good. Showed us the Stübli for comfort and coffee 24 hrs. During the snow storm. Warm and Quiet, View and shared balcony was amazing.

I did not expect to be sharing with 40 people in a massive hall with nothing but mattresses in the floor and 2 bathrooms to share. Most of building was being renovated so lots of work going on. No photos showed the room, and I expected to be in an actual bedroom not a gym hall

I booked during a very busy time, and I did enjoy my trip. Location is perfect. There was also a good ski room.

Kids extremely noisy, going down the stairs running & screaming, so noisy it felt like an army was coming down. The coaches did not have much control over them. Kids were left on their own doing whatever they wanted. Running & screaming in hallway while I was trying to sleep. I understand kids are kids but there was no control over them.

Could give the impression of a hostel ...but truly, the location makes you just happy to be there.

The location is absolutely stunning. It trumps everything else. We had balcony view of mountains (I understand that not everyone is as lucky). I think occupancy was down so there was not the chaos that some have reported. Helpful staff allowed us to leave luggage.

Honestly ,location couldnt be better-the wiew from the balcony was amazing so I didnt focus on facilities etc.room was very clean thoug,spacious enough.Breakfast was good.All staff were very friendly,kind and helpfull (they allowed us to leave our luggage at the hotel after check out)

Shower favilities might need an upgrade. Breakfast was good but some fruit was old and had mold.

Rooms were clean and comfortable and with a great view of the eiger. We could sit on the shared balciny outside our room at night.

The colour scheme in the hallways - blue and white made it look like a hospital. Could be more stylish colours. Table football could have been free and tennis courts had an expensive hire fee.

single room is next to the shared men restroom. at night when someone is closing the doors there - it feels very noisy. woke up several times because of the doors slamming. maybe it’s possible to put a note on the door, asking not to slam it🙂

the location is super. the view is great. it’s good cause for money. I was able to book a single room only 3 weeks in advance!

FYI this place is sort of a kids sports' camp kinda vibe. There were about 40 kids the few days we stayed that we ate breakfast with each morning down in the mess hall. Don't come here looking for cozy romantic time. Come for the central location, clean facilities and functional rooms.

insanely cheap relative to other options in Mürren. Staff is friendly, view of the mountains is insane, stored our bags for free while we did some overnight hiking.

The location was central to train and cable. The bed was confortable. Having a private bath is nice. Everything was clean. A simple breakfast Office personel were great. Good value.

the walls were very thin so we heard constant noise from uncourteous neighbors who stayed up very late talking, drinking, having phone calls on speaker phone so we could hear both sides of the conversation, etc. There was a common room on the first floor where they could have gone and not bothered anyone; might be good to tell people about it at check-in going forward.

staff was friendly and helpful, location was good, and the basic amenities were what we needed (bed, showers, breakfast).

No shampoo or soap provided, so just make sure you bring your own. Otherwise, you're stuck purchasing large bottles from the nearby coop.

Really good stay. We were very lucky to have a corner room with balcony, just such a wonderful view. The hotel is clean and staff is very friendly. Breakfast was unexpected and very good. It's a big place but never seemed crowded. Communal showers but never a wait and great water pressure. There was a little confusion as it seemed some groups had a sandwich making section in the breakfast room that wasn't for the other guests. But that wasn't super clear so one day we made a to go sandwich but then a few days later were told that section wasn't for us. It was no big deal but wanted others aware. There is a communal fridge and kettle to use on the main level.
