First of all, as a train geek, the best view in the world! If you don't like sleeping next to a railway line then probably not the best spot :) The hostel is clean and very nicely decorated. The staff is very welcoming. The location everything you dream of when staying in Montreux or using it as a base to explore the area.

The location of the hostel is a very convenient place, easy to get a bus to move around, As it was mentioned washroom is shared i thought it would be horrible but I was wrong, plenty of toilets and shower places, even i think they have more washroom than rooms. Value of money for sure. If i visit Montreux again i will consider it again.

It’s a 1.7km hike around the lake from the Montreux central station. It is a nice walk, but takes a while with luggage. Of course I realised later that there is a closer train station..

You can't check in early because staff don't show up before 4 PM. Breakfast was okay, nothing to write home about. No soap in toilets and showers so bring your own.

Fantastic location near Territet Station, clean and well appointed amenities. Bed side power socket and lamp were working.

The location was abit difficult to find as it was located below a long flight of stairs. The breakfast was a little disappointing. There wasn't any salad bar as they showed on booking.com photos. There were only some deli meats,cereal,bread and juice. But I felt it was fair for the price paid.

The lobby of the hostel looked like a hotel and the environment felt very clean and cosy. Outside the hostel is a lake which is good for morning walks.

Little bit noisy at night when train passing by. We had to open the window to keep fresh air. No air conditioner. We stay two nights in different room because of two separated booking. the first floor room is less noisy than the third floor room. No elevator to floor 2 and 3. Need climb the hill/stairs, it was challenging to carry luggages.

Close to lake, nice view. Breakfast is good.

Very pleasant experience. the hostel is just beside the lake and it is so beautiful. They staff are very nice. Room is clean. bed is comfortable. everything is better than expected!

Breakfast: it wasn't clear whether coffee and hot drinks had to be paid for extra - I didn't ask however to clarify. The dorms were mixed, which caused a few problems with snoring older males in an otherwise female room.

Location perfect, within walking distance of the centre but well served by a bus every 10 minutes and the local trains. Breakfast abundant, with very healthy and locally sourced options. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms light and airy with ample space for suitcases and a spacious safe locker for valuables.

The staff was so kind and helpful, really made one feel welcome. The hostel is right by the lake. You can have a beer at the front deck with a lake view. Also, very nice walk to the market square and also a walking distance of the chateau

My room was at the same height as the train tracks and could hear the trains pass (as the windows were opened due to the heat of the night) - bring earplugs!

Comfortable stay, hostel was modern and clean inside and reception staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast range was fantastic and heaps of common spaces to relax and a view of lake Geneva during breakfast! Located near a train and bus stops so was very accessible!

It happened to all hostel, no receptionist at the lobby before 4pm so do not try your luck for early checkin. The new escalator is only up to level 1. I was give room at level 3 and have to carry my big luggage up. The hostel is located at a slope. Just be ready to push your luggage. It’s abit far from the city and there is no supermarket nearby.

The hostel is located just within steps to the lake. It was soooo relaxing and nice to stay late n enjoy the sunset near the lake. The facilities is always clean and tidy the breakfast was fantastic. There were personal locker in the room not big enough for luggage but it’s good for personal belonging.

Broken elevator was not disclosed, no kitchen facilities or fridge access, show curtain fell off on me (not attached properly) staff couldn’t tell me where to eat outside the hostel, the name on the building is not the same as the booking which was really confusing.
