The staff do not speak German or English. Since the hotel does not have regular guests, the check-in was kind of chaotisch. The staff had to call the owner to confirm my reservation. The breakfast provided was also nothing special but for a one night stay, no complaints.

The room was big and they had free parking on premise. It had all the basic amenities and it is 15 min to the airport by Car.

there was virtually noone in the hotel - and it was hard to get anyone’s attention at the reception (even though they advertised 24/7 reception help) … that was not the case. also - it was not clean, the location is ok, but further away from the city center than advertised. also - the furniture is really old and worn out, there was no kettle even though it was promised (and we didn’t receive it upon requesting it) … the heating system was broken and water was running in the pipes and the heater. very disturbing … overall not great.

There was no lift (we stayed on the 3rd floor), breakfast was somewhat scarce, rather noisy neighbor until 1.30 am at night, rather high price room compared to similar standard rooms in Europe.

The personnel was helpful and kind, the parking place was practically situated close by.

Hotel's management not respecting the free cancellation at any time: upon arrival I announced only staying the first night and cancelling the second. I was forced to pay for two, with the promise of arranging the reimbursement the next day upon check-out. Upon check-out however, I was told to seek reimbursement from Booking! Also the decoration was ugly (walls painted gold) and the entire hotel smelled cooking, obviously due do the lack of proper ventilarion and the deficient (if any) extractor hood in the kitchen of its restaurant. Are these Swiss standards? It is also interesting to know that my credit card, successfully used for the entire travel of 3000 km, was found NOT working in the POS of the hotel, despite correct PIN and sufficient balance of more than 1000 EUR. I suspect intentional forcing into using cash or debit cards, as to limit customers' defense. First time regretting for my good faith. I will in the future request extra guarantees from Booking before making any reservation.

No elevator (the staff even was kidding with us that it is broken, and there was no eleveator at all). No hairdryer. Even if booking saoys we can have one upen request. And no room service. No kithchen kettle, even if i reserved before arrival. Not at all value for money.

It was quiet and in good surounding. They gave us big room, but the room was mising a lot of facilities.

The hotel appeared a little bit old fashioned. The room needed some maintenance: the handle of the courtains of one of the windows was broken and the handle of one of the heaters was missing.

The room was very large and comfortable, even for four people. The breakfast was good with freshly prepared omelette on request. A lot of parking places available. The price was high with respect to international standards but cheap with respect to Zurich average.

there is plenty of open-parking space, which is very important to us. The comfortable bathroom had a spacious window which airs the space and we particularly liked this. Beds equally comfortable. There is a restaurant downstairs at reasonable prices. We did not eat there but the portions looked big as well. Hotel is really old fashioned but did not bother us. Hotel is near Zurich, which was the reason of our choice, as we had a dinner to attend and returned very late. Surrounding area to walk the dog a great plus! Will certainly come back to this hotel. Everybody was very nice and friendly.

The description on the website is very inaccurate, no kettle, no double bed (a twin room) no Garden view - looking out onto the main road - very noisey till about 11:30pm. Directly above the Pizza Restaurant - not really a hotel!

It was useful for my requirements - free parking and close to where I needed to be.

Room was pretty small and mattress was uncomfortable. Shower inside the room itself in winter the wetness will stay inside! Shower did not get cleaned by room service. No toilet inside the room. Breakfast was not good! no cuttlery provided to pick up cheese or sausages. Bread rolls were bad quality etc! Rooms towards main road are quite noisy including restaurant guests from below!

Supermarket directly across the street, and an additional restaurant. It was easy to get a room while the Hotels in Spreitenbach were pretty full.

first off, my room was given out to someone else and I was taken to a shared room with 4 other people, I refused to accept it. They took me to another room with shared bathroom and toilet. I was disgusted and sad. Then next day, I was taken to a single room ensuite. I appreciate the efforts of the house meister .. he tried to make me feel comfortable by offering me free dinner for the 2 nights.

I had been told we were to have a kettle provided by booking.com and we didn't so we were a bit sad as we love our tea 😉 not a big deal though! We also thought the breakfast would be hot that came with our booking but it was cold meats etc.

The staff were wonderful and accommodating and made it extra special for us especially at dinner.
