The breakfast could have had a few more options to choose from. If you stay on multiple days, you will eat the same breakfast each morning. Big challenge for us was the bathroom sliding door. There is a huge gap between the slider and the wall. Absolutely no privacy. The sliding door itself is clear except for a small area which is frosted with clear designs in it. Depending on where you are in the room, you can see the person inside and there is a clear shower wall. I was traveling with my 2 adult sons. This was very uncomfortable for us. I had to drape bed fabric over part of the door and a bath towel over the shower wall to create a little privacy. So just be aware, no bathroom privacy.

The breakfast was ok. Making mimosas was a nice touch. The location is wonderful. Near everything and so easy to find and get to. The staff was very friendly. We appreciated the fans as they were needed during our stay in May.

Nothing , all fine except the weather. Why does it always rain in Zurich!

Everything in Zurich is very expensive but this hotel seems good value. It is very comfortable , the staff are helpful and efficient and the breakfast is excellent . It is close to the station and also the old , more attractive part of the city.

A stone throw from Zurich bahnhof. My interaction with 04 front office staff was pleasant and informative. They have good knowledge of their work and Zurich. The hotel is walking distance to all sights. The room may be medium in size, all of them are useful. Kudos to all of them (breakfast, front office, and housekeeping). Thank you

Pouring with rain on arrival at main station - taxi drivers refused to take us as (quote) 'hotel is only 500 metres away', while ignoring the fact that potential customers were both in their 70s with suitcases and in pouring rain. Not a fault of the hotel of course but as the latter is not a transport route be prepared to drag your own cases on arrival.

Hotel as expected for the city-centre price. Some noise in the morning sounding like something being dragged over cobbles by the hotel. Hotel was in city centre old town so plenty of restaurants in the vicinity.

The street noise was very high. The bars down our street were open until am hours. It seemed everyone was outside the bars on the street talking loudly. Also, traffic, mostly motor bikes, could be heard during the night. All this with the windows closed.

Honestly, service and comfort is the two things that make me score the place high. The girls from the reception were not like the lady from the breakfast, going above and beyond. I asked few recommendations where to eat traditional food e etc and they were only able to recommend tourist traps around old town, very expensive places. I really like when I get the hotel and the people in the reception give you a overview of the town, good recommendations and etc. They were not as caring… they are not rude or anything, don’t take me wrong, they may not just be well trained to actually give the guest a better experience.

I enjoyed my stay in the hotel. Just to be clear, the main reason that I am giving a good score is because of the lady that works in the breakfast area. On Sunday, I booked a tour and I wouldn’t really have time to have a proper breakfast, I arrived at 7:30 and ask her if I could bring some stuff for breakfast, she was superrrrr helpful and caring, ensuring that I have a reasonable breakfast. It saved my day as the tour only stopped around 2o clock for we eat. Thank you so much, it was a small gesture but you made my day. The room was clean and cosy, no complain. Another big advantage is the location, you can do absolutely everything by foot, very convenient place to stay.

the blanket could be a bit larger, linen material a bit softer, and the mattress itself as well is not bad, however could be slightly better, and i understand the meaning of single bed but there is definite room for improvement in the size of the bed.
