Great location- many restaurants near by. The room was super cozy. Free fruit on arrival, wifi and laundry was a lovely touch. The staff are super friendly! The are Kayaks and snorkeling gear to borrow. We loved our stay here ! Would stay again

It was lovely staying here. My villa was clean and very cozy. I traveled alone and feelt very safe and comfortable. The staff was amazing and so friendly. I highly recommend staying here!

Tucked away only a few minutes walk from Black Rock Beach and some great restaurants/bars/bakery/a 24 hour convenience store, and wonderful spot to snorkel and kayak. The pool and air conditioning are a lifesaver when it hits 32 degrees and the rooms are well equipped and clean. Most importantly though, the team are friendly, helpful, kind, honest about which local experiences to seek, and which might not suit your type of travel.

Excellent well managed venue with on - site owners/managers, who were most welcoming and helpful Near the beach, this resort has beautiful gardens and a lovely splash pool There was a bowl of fruit bin our villa on arrival. A very well run establishment with a nice personal touch

Bit of an ant problem in the kitchen but didn’t mind.

Beautiful setup, the garden scenery was spectacular and well kept. Spacious rooms and lovely options for gatherings at the pools or a small bbq.

The property was clean. Very roomy, breezy cool air to the unit. It’s like a home away from home. Nice colorful garden. It has everything you need. Walking distance to restaurants and the nice bakery. The beach was 3 yards away. Great friendly hosts.

Staff were all so friendly and helpful. Lots of extras like washing machine, dvds, reef shoes, snorkels and kayaks all provided which was amazing.

Immaculate and beautiful villa. It was really spacious with everything you need. First place we stayed that provided filtered water which was great! Lots of nice little touches. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. They gave us lots of tips and suggestions for the area which was really helpful. Will hopefully be back in the future!

Friendly and helpful hosts presenting very clean and comfortable accommodation a lovely stroll away from the beach. Even though the weather wasn't the best enjoyed snorkelling straight off the beach.

Cute villas and close to the beach on the west side of the island (beautiful sunsets). Walking distance to a couple of restaurants, bakeries. The owners Lynn and Wayne were very sweet and always happy for a chat.

I had to leave to continue my holiday travels !

Lin and Wayne were exceptional hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and they seemed to have thought of everything to keep guest happy and comfortable. Beach is literally yards away as is the main road. Town is 3 miles one way so a little too far to walk round trip. Two good restaurants nearby. Parking available for abour four cars. Unit has air con and kitchen. Highly recommend a stay here.

Great location, close to the little town of Avarua, and a few very good restaurants. Lin and Wayne are extremely friendly and welcoming, full of information. It felt like staying at friends'.

Exactly what we were after, a nice relaxing holiday in the sun away from the NZ winter. The Cooks Oasis is perfectly situated being a stone's throw from a great beach, good snorkeling and swimming areas inside a safe reef with a handful of cafes and restaurants in easy walking distance. Wayne and Lin were the perfect hosts, relaxed, very knowledgeable of the area and none of our requests were a problem. The plunge pool, kayaks, snorkeling gear, and BBQ area were a bonus. We will be back!

We loved staing at The Cooks Oasis! We will defintly come back next time we are in Raro. Matty, Lin and Wayne are great hosts. They always checked on us to see if we needed anything else. They give us lots of advised on different locations to visit. Also about the different local fruits and markets. The place is beatifull and really close to the beach. Everything was great! :) Thank you guys!!!

Loved the hospitality of the owners and very kind, aprochable and helpful! Made us feel very welcomed to the Island and at ease in a place we'd never been before. Awsome having pretty much everything you need available there, wifi to purchase, dvds, snorkeling gear, kayaks washing machine ect, and great beach area to snorkel or watch the sunset

Very friendly and informative staff who went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable. The room was beautiful and private. Good quiet location with a short walk to the beach. There was good snorkelling and the best views on the island for sunsets.
