“Clean, comfortable and quiet room located in a very convenient part of the Shangri-La old town. The owner was exceptionally friendly and hospitable towards us throughout our stay, giving us tons of advice on what to do, where to eat etc. She even went as far as to help us call a backup Didi ride when we were rushing to the station to catch a train to Dali. Breakfast was quite tasty and had both Chinese and western options available. We had a great time staying here!”
“Good, clean room with a truly awesome view of the gorge. The guesthouse is family run and the owner and his son were both very friendly and helpful, giving us advice on our hiking itinerary, which we weren't totally sure of before arriving. The guesthouse provided all the shuttling services we needed for a reasonable price, dropping us off in the morning at tea-horse guest house and picking us up after we climbed out of the middle gorge scenic area. In addition we were able to pay to get a ride directly to Shangri-La, saving us a lot of trouble and time. The food served was quite tasty too!”
“The location is very convenient. Just a short walk to reach the old town. The staff were all nice. They picked us up from the train station for free, help carrying our luggages in & out, cooked for us when we wanted to leave very early.”

It was a bit cold in the evening, but there was a heater in the room, so not a problem.”
“The boss welcomed us with ginger tea and snacks upon our arrival. It was a long day for us as we drove from Lijiang to Timeless and was on the road since 7am. We reached Timeless Inn at 6pm. The gesture was a nice gesture. We loved our room and the fact that there was bed warmer, free wifi and great hot water shower. Loved the almost completely wood structure and the coal stove/heater. They also provide great breakfast and is one of a rare hotel that accepted international credit card! This is a great bonus. Owner also gave us alot of tips on food and things to do.”
