The hotel is located in the heart of zone 1 in Beijing, however, it is not that busy hectic like Wangfujing. It is quiet and with lots of restaurants around. The staff at the hotel are helpful.

The only thing that was a problem for us was the WiFi even if maybe depend from the apps that we usually used in Italy and are forbidden in China. But we appreciate the support from all the staff.

We completely love the support of the staff, especially from Robin, Fisher and the other guys and girls that work in this unique place called New World Beijing Hotel. They booked taxi for us, bought tickets for visiting places and gave recommendations for local restaurants and gave us any kind of support. Robin was very kind and helpful with us for everything, and was very friendly to us. We recommend the hotel for the position also, 'cause you can reach every place in Beijing in an easy way. The room was clean and big. The breakfast and the dinner were also very good and also we found very good local food, we loved the fish cooked with tomatoes and noodles, dumplings and the cakes. We also used the swimming pool, sauna and we loved the service.

There could have been a coffee machine instead of a kettle, like a capsule coffee machine.

The hotel is in a very good location, a few minutes walk from the Metro station and a 30-40 minute walk from Tiananmen Square. The room was very spacious and clean, the bathroom included both a shower and a bathtub and toiletries (plus slippers and bathrobes). The bed was sper king and extremely comfortable and the curtains black out. There was a kettle available for instant coffee and tea. The staff spoke very good English and were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great, with a wide variety of Asian and Western food cuisines.

The wifi dropped out a few times, but this was a minor issue which resolved itself by the end of my stay.

Modern and spacious hotel. The room had access to the Residence Lounge. This was an ideal spot for a couple of drinks, a coffee or to get some work done. I was well served by Evren 3 days in a row - he was attentive and helpful and spoke good English. The pool and spa facilities were great.

As in most Chinese hotels, some guests still smoke in their rooms - the smell is occasionally noticeable. Matress was very hard. Other than that no complaints at all

Very nice modern hotel at great location, Super market, shopping options and sights in walking distance. Staff was speaking English and supportive when booking a taxi. Great, spacious room. I received a free room upgrade and enjoyed it very much. Restaurant very good, lots of choices at the buffet. Room service was great as well. Would defintely recommend this hotel.

I have no serious complaints, but I did notice one thing that I hadn’t seen on my previous visits to the New World Beijing Hotel. The hotel has a nice modern design with a clean and modern aesthetic . We had reserved a standard room but were kindly upgraded to what was described to us as a superior, and larger room at no extra charge. The room was perfectly clean and very large but Beijing standards but it was not in the best of conditions. Not a big problem, but a bit disappointing. The sofa had peeling skin, the carpet was worn, the drapes would not close, etc. Not up to the standard I’ve see there in the past.

Location is very very good - right in the heart of Beijing. Front desk staff are top notch - knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful.

The view from the window was meh, nothing in particular. Taxis sometimes had to take huge turns to reach us due to traffic arrangement. There is nothing else really to complain about, I just need to write more, so that my review can be posted.

The property is very well located, close to the main attractions of the city. There is a larger mall and there are also smaller shops nearby to do your shopping if you wish to. Staff was kind and helpful. We enjoyed a free upgrade to a suite and it was huge and pleasant to stay in the room. Facilities were clean, comfy, amenities plenty. We tried the restaurant on top of the property and had a pleasant hot pot dinner, too. Breakfasts are nice, with a wide variety of local and Western yummies. Do try the dumplings and the noodle soup station! Exceptional value for money.

The bed was too firm & the pillows were hard & thin.

The location is very good, closed to Wangfujing the shopping centres & near the historical sites like Forbidden City & Tiananmen. Staff are extremely helpful & friendly. Just tell them your needs & they will gladly solve your problems. The room is undoubtedly spacious!

The wifi was unreliable and slow when we were able to connect.

The hotel has wonderful facilities and a delicious breakfast buffet with plenty of variety for all tastes. Location is handy - it took us approximately 8 minutes to walk to Chongwenmen station. The highlight of our stay was the excellent service we received. Front desk, restaurant and room attendant staff were always friendly and helpful. Thank you very much to Iris, in particular, who went above and beyond helping us sort out tickets for museums and the ballet.
