Nothing to complain, just wish I could have stayed longer

The hotel is absolutly amazing. Villa is very private and comfortable, all the staff are extremely helpful and welcoming. Breakfast is delicious and with a lot of variety, both for chinese and western food.

The beach is too big, the view is too great, can’t take enough pics. Indoor swimming pool is too lovely, kids are too ignorant to play and swim in the pool whole day.

Kids(2-4 years old) love the playground! Spa is excellent, time management is great, anything is smooth. the body and facial massage are high quality. Staff are nice! Well trained! Chef are talkative, familiar with the kids. They updated our flight schedule, we were so appreciated they told us our flight was cancelled, All the staff were helpful and arranged us a taxi immediately, we catch on the flight finally, but we did left some stuff in the hotel, and they sent back to us. They all professional! Thai food and bbq food are outstanding! Floating breakfast is fancy!

There was nothing we didn’t like.

Everything was amazing. Wonderful private Villa with swimming pool and jacuzzi. The property is peaceful and relaxing, beautifully kept and well maintained. They have there own private beach which you can relax on without hundreds of other tourists. Every evening at 5:30 you can sit by the beach and enjoy the sunset with a few free glasses of wine and canapés. All the staff at the hotel were extremely welcoming, friendly, polite and professional. The manager Hickey was great, gave us a tour of the property when we first arrived and was happy to help with anything we needed. Both my wife and I had an amazing time and will definitely be returning on our next trip to Sanya.

Only small neg, can take them a while to clean the pool each day. Beach is also slightly less appealing than Yalong.

Top service, much improved on other locations in Sanya. Villa and surrounding area always clean by the time u return from breakfast. Free happy hour a nice additional touch too. Also forwarded everything we left behind for minimal postage charge.

A fantastically beautiful hotel with luxury villas. Extremely beautiful territory. All villas have their own swimming pool of sufficient size for swimming. There is also a huge main swimming pool in the hotel, for those who like to swim a lot, always clean and free. The breakfasts are excellent , high-quality food, perfect service. During the breakfast we saw maximum 3-5 families in one time. Very calm and quiet hotel, while the lively area of Sanya is about 3 km away. The staff at the hotel is very kind, always ready to help in everything. The service is at the highest level. Special thanks to Spencer, who made our stay even more fantastic, we had a villa for 2 people, but there were 3 of us and Spencer upgraded our villa to the deluxe villa. An extra bed is also provided absolutely free of charge. The villa was cleaned 2 times a day, we didn't even notice when they did it. Our friends came to us and they were also delighted. We are looking forward to coming back again at some point for sure!

Everything was wonderful, however a coffee maker in the rooms would be preferred over instant.

The staff was really wonderful. Spencer made sure that every request we had was made. The grounds were well maintained and beautiful. I highly recommend the spa as well. We certainly will come back and recommend to others!

The only thing we can think of that we didn't like was when we were having a private meal in our villa, a member of staff came in for us to sign the check mid meal and mid conversation. Poor timing and we were apologized to by management the same evening.

Everything. The villa was fantastic and cleaned every day while we were at breakfast. The food was exquisite and always served in a polite manner. The beach side BBQ was tremendous with a huge variety and served with decent wine. Spencer, Jimmy, Tim and Nancy were excellent and would get us anything we needed whenever we asked (including an ice bucket for wine at 11pm!) Buggies would pick you up within minutes of calling for one. And to top it off, Wendy and Cassiel in the spa helped top our honeymoon with an excellent massage.

Nothing at all, I only wish we could have stayed much longer.

We stayed for 9 days at the Banyan Tree and would recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone. We were apprehensive about booking this hotel as we saw some reviews mentioning that it had outdated facilities, but our stay was absolutely perfect with nothing to complain about: - Amazing and courteous service from all staff who greeted guests all the time. Special mention to Spencer and Lexie who were made our stay so enjoyable, and the friendly chefs who served the most delicious food. - The impressive lack of mosquitos. The grounds were very well-tended to and we did not get a single bite during 9 days. - The general solitude and lack of people. The fact that the hotel only has villas meant that the dining area was never crowded and you could eat in peace. - Villas were very private and great for a restful retreat. They are decorated classically and facilities were very clean and well-maintained. - Rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels, turn-down service was very thoughtful and even provided small desserts. - The welcoming blast of powerful air-conditioning that cooled you down immediately when it was super hot outside. - Breakfast was delicious and had a good variety of Thai food, Western food and Local delicacies that changed daily. There was also a fresh juice bar! Also, breakfast was served till 11am so you could sleep in late. - Private pool was clean and amazing to spend the day in. - Heated outdoor jacuzzi was perfect for the night. - Proximity to Dadonghai beach, just a short scooter ride away where there are many food and lifestyle activities. - Beautiful sunsets at the beach bar. - Golf carts to take you everywhere within the compound if you were feeling lazy. - Toiletries smelled amazing. We 10/10 hope to come back again and it was the best decision to choose to stay here.

Not a great deal of English, but the staff does their best. I found the resort to actually be quite tranquil and relaxing. This isn't like most of the resorts in the area. You can actually feel like you are "getting away" and can kind of lose touch with the outside world like you can't at most resorts. The food was really good, and fairly priced for a 5 star resort. The best thing was having your own pool to swim in each day, which our young daughter (and us!) loved. I want to give a special shout out to Hickey who acted as a personal concierge throughout the trip to make sure that we didn't have problems with the language barrier. Thanks Hickey! I also want to thank the head of F and B Jimmy, who went out of his way to be kind and helpful to our family. Overall, I would highly recommend this resort. You'll pay for it, but if you are looking to truly get away from it all... it's worth it.

Everything. From the moment we checked in, the front desk gentleman was very helpful and friendly in welcoming us and making us feel like home. The service team has been supporting us and making sure everything was perfect for the whole stay.

The beer was a bit too expensive and the food in restaurant was pricey but it was delicious Thai food ;-)

Very friendly and helpful staff, the tasty western breakfast, fresh made juice, the big pool. The resort is big and the villa with own pool is great for stay with family. The private beach is big and we had a very nice and relaxing stay, we will come again!
