Everything here is exceptional. The service we received from every single staff member, from the front service desk to the breakfast hostess, to the cleaners and the dinner service people, was just incredible. The hotel is nearly 200 years old but is beautifully decorated and all amenities are perfect - a grand dame of a hotel! Great location to walk to the harbour and plenty of restaurants, Salamanca markets are also an easy walk away (5 mins). The in-house restaurant made us our favourite meal of our whole Tasmanian trip, with delicious local ingredients. We will be recommending Hadley’s to everyone!!

The property was in walking distance from the town centre and had two parks on either side of the motel which was fantastic for our 2 1/2-year-old. The property was extremely clean and very comfortable. We got a family room which has parking under the unit and had a bedroom with a double and then a single in the lounge area which was perfect for our toddler.

Having stayed here before we knew what to expect but since our last visit the bathroom in our room had been completely re done which was a pleasant surprise. The Motel is close to everything and good value for money. Pleasant staff on arrival.

We had a great room and the beds were really comfortable. Liked being able to drive upto the room and park outside. Were able to login to Disney and watch Taylor Swift with our own account. The shower was great.

The pool was unfortunately cold. We stayed in Nelson Bay and they heated the pool to 28 degrees celsius. The decking was run down and I'm not sure if there was mould above the water level on the sides. We overcame this by visiting the local aquatic centre in Forster, which was heated and undercover. Entry was reasonable at $24.00 for 1 adult + 1 child. It rained that evening so we were grateful to have chosen to swim there.

not enough hook to hang cloth or towel in bad room. 2 hook are too high for small persons. The kitchen towel was dirty. The cleaner needs to give some attentions to the small things like this.

There is a 200 dollar bond which is a joke and they don’t tell you tell you pay for the room. The 29/30 bar was closed on a Saturday and they make you line up as if want to sit and dine for dinner near a pool. It’s a waste of time using the hotel facilities.
