Everything, Karen our hostess was just amazing, helpful with suggestions of where to go, the most amazing breakfast and suggested we take leftovers for lunch and invited out daughter who was living in Banff over to have breakfast with us every day. Just an amazing stay. Couldn't speak highly enough of this stay. Location was just off the main street. Exceptional value for money

The location was ideal for us. Right at waters edge with a lovely view. The room was nice and bright and although some might describe it as very small, the way it was laid out made the space very useable. The furnishings in the room were very whimsical and you could almost imagine you were in a room on a cruise ship.

- The highlight was definitely the heated pool. - The hotel is family friendly and nicely designed - Room was comfortable and beds as well - friendly staff at the restaurant and breakfast service

- The changing room and areas of the pool were dirty and outdated; service at the pool was weird and demotivated - The Jaccuzi broke on the second day of our stay and was not repaired, though it was a major holidays. I mentioned it at check out and only got a very half hearted apology. - breakfast didnt have daily variety, was mediocre (except for the croissants) and overpriced (as it was charged extra) - location is in the midst of downtown surrounded by big streets and very little infrastructure. The walks to the old harbor and the nice areas of plateau are not very pleasant - garage is charged extra, no other long term parking options

It was a great stay. The location was amazing and we loved being able to see the sea lions in morning.

The fridge door was a bit awkward because it opened the wrong way, however that is an easy fix as fridge doors can be adjusted to open on the other way.

A bit expensive for 1 night stay. The continental breakfast started to late for us. We came for a swim meet and had to be at competition pool by 7. Breakfast started at 630.
